I hate to break it to you folks, but Angilion is actually correct. It was proven that the kid had bought the tickets that he said he bought. It's not his fault that the ticket clerk screwed up.

I also believe it was handled wrong, even if the kid was trying to scam.

correcting one person at a time with his know-it-all bullpoo.

You claim I know everything. I don't. So why are you holding me responsible for your obviously incorrect belief? Your posts have nothing to do with me.

A tempting idea, but I think I'll pass.

I guess I'm threatened by Angilion. Yes, that's it. He knows EVERYTHING about everything!

Nice of you to say so, but your praise of me is far more than I deserve. I know a little about quite a few things, nothing more than that.

Makes me feel so small and insignificant.

You do that to yourself. Remember what I said about mental illness? Perhaps your fits of rage stem from depression. A doctor might be able to help.

Look, he even knew I'm mentally ill!

Well, you could just be pretending.

He takes a long enough break from his porn, cheetos, and w.o.w.

1 out of 3 is a far higher level of accuracy than you normally reach. Well done!

to log on to IAB and change the world,

Change the world via an unimportant and extremely transient forum? Hardly likely.

I don't care if he had a ticket or not. He obviously had an attitude, cursed at his seniors, and should have done more to prove he had a ticket that was legit.

I guess he won't be so quick to curse at someone next time.

lmao

Hmm...what is my problem. Well lets see. I guess I'm threatened by Angilion. Yes, that's it. He knows EVERYTHING about everything! Makes me feel so small and insignificant. Look, he even knew I'm mentally ill! Yes, that must be it....or whatever is directly the OPPOSITE of that. He takes a long enough break from his porn, cheetos, and w.o.w. to log on to IAB and change the world, correcting one person at a time with his know-it-all bullpoo. He was trying to con a free ride.
Unless @angilion can link some further information, this video and @beardofzues's link are all we have to go by.
It's speculation that "he had the wrong ticket by accident" and much more likely he's just scamming the system.

No, it isn't. The train company looked at their records. He bought two singles, as he said he had. So he can't have been scamming - he paid the correct price for the correct number of tickets. The ticket system is computerised and there's a recording trail. It wasn't hard to check.

Angilion - He didn't show the ticket inspector guy his ticket, thus for all the ticket inspector knew, he had only bought one single, not two.

He did show his ticket, but it was an incorrect ticket.

This has all been confirmed by the train company (which, of course, has records of tickets sold).

So the youth had paid the right amount for two tickets, two singles between those two destinations. He'd bought two singles from A to B instead of one from A to B and one from B to A.

It wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't for everyone involved being an arse about it. The easiest solution would have been to phone ahead and have him met by the transport police when he got off the train.

I would like to point out that I logged in specifically for the opportunity to articulate again that every time I see a comment or group of comments by this prick Angilion, I want to smash his fuuuuckin face in. Thank you, that is all.

I'm always glad to help people who are mentally ill in some way, like you. You might get more effective help if you went to a trained professional, though. Just some free advice.

this kid was WRONG, regardless of our esteemed angilion's opinion.

I thought this was clear:

Everyone involved in this incident was an arse about it. They're all in the wrong.

So...which bit didn't you understand? Was it 'everyone'? 'an arse'? 'wrong'?

So I said the youth was being an arse about it and was in the wrong...why do you think your reply makes any sense?

big guy may have been morally right but assault is still assault. I would imagine the judge will be extremely easy on him but the situation did not warrant his involvement. the ticket conductor should have called security about 10 minutes prior to the big guy getting involved.

granted, the train company should have fixed the error. BUT, you cant expect them to do it after the fact. they cannot fix it after you have already boarded and left. the kid was an non-nice individual, the old man couldnt care less, and the "big man" did nothing wrong, no matter what legal technicality is against him.

@Gerry - here is a link to the delinquent's defense... Link I personally think everybody was at fault. The kid should have been calmer, the attendant should have simply called the transport police who could have been at the next stop, and the 'big man' should have covered his face ;)

And because our feeble lawmakers don't have the balls to protect the decent folk of society against scrotes like this kid, the big fella was actually prosecuted for this. Notice how everyone applauded him. Doesn't matter, the law-breakers have more rights than the rest of us.

in all fairness that would be concidered assault and could lead to fines or jail time. O but it looks like it was deserved

I'm glad someone helped the old fellow out and tossed his delinquint butt out! Too freaking bad he left his bags on board, goto unclaimed luggage to get them back, jerk! If he'd been nice about it, none of that would have happened, so sod him!

Due to a mistake, he'd been sold 2 A to B singles, rather than 1 A to B and 1 B to A.

@Angellion

...so you are saying he didn't have a ticket for the train he was on?

How do you know the details of this incident?

What gives the kid the right to swear at someone asking to see his ticket? If nothing else, he should have been thrown off for that.
