Who cares? There are real issues that need to be reported. "indefinite detention of americans bill", "Internet censorship act (SOPA)", etc... But instead the "news" corporations use air time to fight amongst themselves about nothing. total crap. |

Christmas isn't even a real holiday anymore. It certainly isn't the most important Christian one, Easter is the holiest of the holy's.
Jesus wasn't born on December 25th. What a farce. It isn't surprising that Christians don't even realize this about their own faith, the blinders come out and get worn any time you speak truth to a good majority of them.
Just keep spending your money Christians, and there won't be any problems, k? |

Christians are serious about this Christmas war, So...give it to them. Nobody can get rid of Christmas. No matter how much you might dislike the commercialism, or dislike how christians are pushing religion with it. Christians themselves once hated this ancient pagan holiday and realized they couldn't get rid of it so the Church made it all about them instead. Ever notice how the Jesus parts of christmas seem forced in? Its because they are.
Christians banned Christmas in the 1600s for being pagan. That didn't work and caused riots. The best they could do was try to make people think they always owned it, and that has been the focus of the church for centuries.
People need to fight this controlling BS. Strip the holiday back to a Secular all inclusive holiday celebrating our ancient pagan history, and our free-will to believe in whatever we want. History is on your side. The facts are there, you just need to use them. Jesus was not born December 25'th. |
