Monday, December 19, 2011 1:24:56 PM @beternal What the drat do you mean a proper batmobile? ---I mean A CAR!!! - Right now it is a tumbler painted black... Yes I know the last one converted into a bat-cycle and yes I know it looks kinda cool but it is still A TUMBLER. See: batmobiles through the ages Any of the batmobiles in the older films - batman forever, batman and robin... those were batmobiles - the elongated look, bat-shaped fins, hell, even this one (here) - very much like the old Adam West batmobile (but jazzed up) is enough... I just want a batmobile that it's obvious was made from scratch and is a proper James-Bond sort of car rather than a painted tumbler |

Monday, December 19, 2011 8:27:33 AM "The trailers intro shot is clearly Bane walking away from Batmans broken mask. Hinting that Bane does indeed break Batty." With the size of Bane to Batman, this looks like David breaking Goliath. The Darth Vader mask on Bane, and his size really REALLY bothers me. Doenst matter what canon you follow, bane was massive. |

Monday, December 19, 2011 5:47:53 AM "Anyone notice the Robin symbol near the begining?" There's something resembling Robins "R" in what appears to be "Rogue" spelt out with the cards held by the fans at 0:18. |

Monday, December 19, 2011 4:36:23 AM whats with the soft rooster baby faced kid singing beautiful hymns over violent scenes? is this a new trend? DK trailer was much more intriguing. This..leaves me with a ..oh okay factor. |

Monday, December 19, 2011 4:10:39 AM @beternal What the drat do you mean a proper batmobile? Look at the evolution of the batmobile, and pick which time frame it is "proper" to be. I'm assuming your answer will be anything than what is new. |

Monday, December 19, 2011 12:55:43 AM Things missing for me: A PROPER Batmobile!!! - NOT the tumbler! A bulky Bane A new shot of Wayne Manor The Bat Cave I know Two-Face was meant to be dead... but I liked him - a bit more of him would be cool. ...and the things Batman is most known for - his detective skills and superior fighting ability! - ok, I know you can't show those in a trailer but still |

Sunday, December 18, 2011 9:26:00 PM Anyone who's complaining about Hardy's size hasn't seen him lately. See the movie warrior? He was MASSIVE in that. He put on twenty more pounds of muscle for this. |

Sunday, December 18, 2011 8:48:58 PM It's hard to please a movie audience. Many people who are more familiar with the movies will recognize Bane only as a lapdog of Poison Ivy. Those who are not familiar with the plot-line of the books will not know that he is cunning, clever, and ruthless. It's going to be interesting selling this to an audience not familiar with the canon. |

Sunday, December 18, 2011 8:39:04 PM It's really hard for a studio to complain about bootlegging an advertisement. If anything, it just promotes the movie more. |

Sunday, December 18, 2011 8:21:55 PM hopefully that line that Alfred says about not protecting him is referring to bane breaking his back :P

Sunday, December 18, 2011 7:59:08 PM Lazy, --I too wasnt feeling the anthem --I bet there is still plenty of plot that was not shown. It gave just enough for intrigue --again, I too was not feeling the bootleg --Are you kidding me, 7 months is not "ages" away. Besides, Avengers comes out 2 months prior to hold us all over --I really hope it is at least as epic as "The Dark Knight" was. |

Sunday, December 18, 2011 7:45:25 PM "did I read that right? conclusion?" Yeah because all these movies tie into each other and you didnt know it....... Or they just take place one after the other in the timeline and have the same actors, then being passed off as a "Series". mind you, the Batman movies are awesome, but they really do not have direct plot ties to one another, just a tiny nod to the next movie from the previous, then vise versa. |

Sunday, December 18, 2011 6:32:58 PM I have enough faith in Nolan to know that he would never write Bane as a one-dimensional smash everything in his way sort of bad guy. Nolan can't help but include psychology in every element of his films, and Tom Hardy is a great actor, so Bane will definitely be much deeper than that. |

Sunday, December 18, 2011 6:21:16 PM What made the previous movie so great was that the Joker and Two-Face are both amazingly complex villains. The movie started digging into philosophy and the nature of good and evil, all the while maintaining a gritty, dark, epic scale of action. I agree with that. But I'm not enough of a batman fan(I'm not a batman fan) to know if this new villain will be different. Let's just wait till' it comes out and pass judgement then. |

Sunday, December 18, 2011 6:17:53 PM I couldn't decide what I found more annoying... ... the little kid singing the anthem at the start ... that so much of the plot was revealed ... that this was a bootleg with terrible sound and video ... that it comes out next summer. That's ages away. ... or that it misuse the word 'epic'. You can't describe your movie as epic. We'll be the judges of that, thanks. |

Sunday, December 18, 2011 3:37:07 PM Exactly what El Cinche said. Also, there are a lot of theories floating around about how this movie will pan out, but most seem to believe that they will follow that story arc and have Bane physically destroy Batman and have him pass the torch. I really love bane as a villain, and I hope they do well. |
