@QualityJay: Uh... do you see anything like those on the list linked to above? Nope!

My point wasn't "Obama is great", my point is that A) the list is dumb and B) compared to Bush's "gaffes" they're practically insignificant.

As for the rest, I agree that Obama hasn't been perfect, but get your facts straight. SOPA, which was introduced by a Republican (though co-sponsored by a smaller number of Democrats) and has not passed yet. Even if it does pass, Obama may veto it (the media mostly suggests that he will, though the GOP says he won't).

As for the NDAA for 2012, yeah, that's a serious F-up on Obama's part for not vetoing it until sections 1031 & 1032 were removed.

It's still better than two wars and tanking the economy.

So, I'm no "Obama fanatic", I just think lists like this are dumb.

(Note to original poster: A "gaff" is completely different from a "gaffe".)

HiEV. This is what I can't stand about Obama fanatics. They always say, "look at Bush! Look at Bush!" Meanwhile, we just had the National Defense Authorization Act and the SOPA pass. Our gov. is federalizing banks, auto manufacturing, 2013 will implement devastating environmental legislation, etc etc etc. Yeah, Bush was bad for the country, but Obama is just as bad if not worse. They both work for the same puppeteers.

Well, most of these mistakes look pretty lame. You don't like how he bowls? Really? How the heck is that worth mentioning?

Honestly, none of them compare to G. W. Bush's biggest mistakes: dropping the ball on terrorism prior to 9/11, invading Iraq, allowing the banks to screw up the economy, signing bills that have left the nation in debt up to its eyeballs, etc...

This just seems so... petty compared to that.

@collegebound: See? You weren't paying attention! Being, like, not born yet and stuff is NO excuse!

besides i dont have cable because i dont watch tv...

I know! When my comp was down, and I was trying to get by with an 11 year old one (Windows ME!) I had to watch more TV, it sucked! BBC World News is the best thing on? Oh man!
Now I got a smokin fast comp! Should last 5-6 years... (Windows 7!)

Can't be arsed to read, but if he's only at 105 he's got a helluva way before he catches up with bush.

@LillianDulci: Actually since y'all Americans overthrew the (rightful) King of England, I'm fairly sure that's when the tradition started.

@Cajun: lowering one's head to get a medal isn't bowing, duh! The second one might be, that's Ratzinger before he became Pope eh?

@collegebound: Haven't you been paying attention for the past 31 years? ALL the MSM does all day every day: list the mistakes Republicans make. Real, imagined or outright lies, it's all good for the left!

"An American President isn't supposed to bow to forign kings. Not law or anything, just tradition. "

A tradition stemmed from ignorance of different cultures. A tradition stemmed from "we're better than you" mindset. If it's okay to shake hands with a foreign leader, then it's okay to bow. Bowing is the equivalent to shaking hands in some countries.

Cajun247-" Now don't tell me this isn't bowing because that would be BS."

Well, in the first pic you demonstrate that you are igonrant about the difference between 'bowing' and 'receiving a medal'.

And in the second you demonstrate that you are ignorant as to what the difference between a 'king' and 'bishop'.

@Cajun247 The top one isn't bowing - he is lowering his head to accept a medal, the top one isn't bowing either... Not even close.

@ilurk: Well I agree! His gaffs and boo-boos are funny! However the left, and the MSM (to repeat myself) spend their time pretending these things never happen to Obama!

@PhotoKing: It's too bad Paul has no chance of winning. I don't like Newt either, I hope Romney gets the nomination.

Hee hee, nom nom nom nomination...

Let's see: @RotBottom's "pure evil":
#1 bogus
#2 Bogus
#3 Bogus
#5 Outright lie
Sorry @RotBottom, your list is teh sux!

@davymid: I don't see any American flags on the IAB header (that thing on top with the logo)! Also, I didn't check to see who wrote the site. Male? Female? American? idk, nor should it matter. BUT y'all liberals have a thing for "correctness" which means: you can avoid the actuall issue by b1tching about the messenger.

I have a book called "The Wit and Wisdom of JFK". I think I have one for Johnson too.Back in the day, people of BOTH parties used to respect the Prez, but that was before Nixon. Anyhow the MSM spent 24 YEARS attacking every word out of Reagan, Quail, Bush I, Newt (as House Speaker since Clinton was above question!) and Bush II. Yet here you b1tch and moan like a little girl over FACTS?

You YOU yourself posted the "Mission Accomplished" picture here @davy, a bare-faced lie repeated so often by the MSM that people like you think it's true!

So here's some TRUTH about Obama, deal with it.

at this point i'm between ron paul and obama. the only two sane people running. obama though, while had a strong fight when he first went in, i havn't seen much more out of him. we have a useless medical thing that won't be in affect until the next president takes over. he took forever to get the troops back - which i knew they would be back - during this election thing, and so far i'm not that impressed. he's far more intelligent than bush though, but anyone in that spot after the mess bush left, anyone would look bad.

ron paul seems well in intention, but naive overall, as i don't think he can do any of those things. there are always people above you and that includes the president.

"cleaning up after bush gets no respect..... Obama 2012....."

If covering up a steaming pile of old crap with a heaping pile of new crap is cleaning up, we're screwed. Bush was horrible. Obama is worse. And anyone with a brain that can be a true leader won't run because of zealots on both sides and a media industry that wants to destroy everyone.

I'm not an Obama fan but I will say he's human... We all say things/do things that may contradict something we have said before. If someone watched every word out of my mouth for about 4 years I bet I would have an even longer list :/
