Friday, December 16, 2011 11:47:00 PM Btw, Obama has taken back his promise to veto it, and it's already passed the House & Senate. They are directly breaking a constitutional right. I hate to say it, but if we keep going down this road, it can only end in revolt. Sounds a little crazy, but the government will keep pushing until we push back. |

Friday, December 16, 2011 5:09:46 PM For all you lazy people out there, "they" (anonymous) represent "us". Saying "they" didn't do anything ultimately means "You" didn't do anything. Get off your ass and do something yourself if you want to change anything. Also, I have a VERY hard time believing our own troops, who volunteer their lives to defend this country and it's people, would ever go about actually throwing us into prisons and creating all out war on U.S. soil. It's a scare tactic, and it works because of people who complain that "they" should do something. If you're too lazy and scared to fight back, then they've won. Quit blaming others for not doing something YOU or WE can do. |

Friday, December 16, 2011 7:54:20 AM ....the guillotine blades are being sharpened, even as we speak. Most will go to the FEMA camps without a peep. Revolt? I've never known sheep to revolt before, and I don't think it'll ever happen, either. |

Friday, December 16, 2011 1:23:35 AM the lobbying for the bill but don't actually have that word in the written legislation. Then everyone one votes for the bill because if they don't they think they look like they are unpatriotic and support terrorism. --sorry ran out of room-- |

Friday, December 16, 2011 1:21:25 AM “It is not unfair to make an American citizen account for the fact that they decided to help Al Qaeda to kill us all and hold them as long as it takes to find intelligence about what may be coming next,” remarked Graham. “And when they say, ‘I want my lawyer,’ you tell them, ‘Shut up. You don’t get a lawyer.’” "They should not be read their Miranda Rights. They should not be given a lawyer," Graham said. "They should be held humanely in military custody and interrogated about why they joined al Qaeda and what they were going to do to all of us." How did this Graham person ever become a Senator with this type of idealism? The whole basis of the legal system is we are innocent until proven guilty, prove that they are affiliated with Al Qaeda and involved in terrorist activities and then lock them up. I love how terrorism is used as a bullying tactic in politics they throw around the word terrorist in t |

Thursday, December 15, 2011 11:21:02 PM Obama already made it clear this bill will be vetoed...although, exactly why is a possibly different story than you might think. Anon, if you are going to do something then actually do it this time. you keep saying this and that and never actually follow through anymore.

Thursday, December 15, 2011 9:52:00 PM madest: The Keystone pipeline is only one of dozens of oil pipelines, one more is not going to increase the risk of terrorism. And let's look into some of that 'clean energy' investing that has ended in utter failure and bankruptcy, like Obama's pet Solyndra and several others. Hundreds of billions of dollars have been wasted in the name of 'clean energy' and we are no closer to that pipedream than we were decades ago. |

Thursday, December 15, 2011 5:58:28 PM you think anyone that wants to drill for oil domestically, and get us off foreign oil, to be evil. -------------- No I don't. I have a car. I use electricity. I'm of the opinion we need to do something because scientific consensus says so. Investing in clean energy now beats more drilling. Fracking endangers our ground water supply. The Keystone pipeline will be a 3,000 mile target for terrorists and if a spill does occur the environmental damage will be massive. I got a problem with subsidizing oil. You and the teaparty should too. |

Thursday, December 15, 2011 5:53:08 PM When the French started their first revaluation, those that started it where consumed by it. The Republicans and its backers, should heed history; they are about to start war on and in the USA, and they WILL be consumed by the war they want and start. Unfortunately Many who want and wish for peaceful resolutions will also be consumed. These individuals have one language; and it's that of total war. |

Thursday, December 15, 2011 5:46:40 PM madest: The teaparty is owned by billionaires who want to rape the land, destroy the environment, pay no taxes and blame our economic situation on our social services. No one 'owns' the Tea Party, despite the rhetoric you've heard. I know who the local and state leaders are, for my state, and I can assure none of them are billionaires. As for your ..rape the land, destroy the environment.. accusation, you think anyone that wants to drill for oil domestically, and get us off foreign oil, to be evil. That kind of bias needs to be taken with more than just a 'grain of salt', needs more like a dumptruck full. |
