This is just so sad for everyone involved. But this is also not the answer, he has just made a terrible situation a hundred times worse. Now he has loss his reputation and the trust of his family. |

I feel bad that he's having a hard time, but that all went out the window when he pulled the gun. The threat of deadly force means he's gone way too far. I'm sure he's in jail by now and his poor kids have even bigger problems now. What a shame. |

I agree that there are *almost* always better options, but this is clearly the exception rather than the rule.

Incorrect. Most of the protesters during the OWS protests want the corporatocracy to stop; they do not, in general, want hand outs or for capable people to not realize their economic potential. |

At least he was polite AND didn't actually point his gun at the guy. Still that clerk was visibly upset.
Robbery is still robbery, the motivation for it matters little. |
