Because not having an AR-15 (of which my family has 2) or an AK (of which my family also has 2) totally kept him from slaughtering all of those kids. |

so wait, if the cop didn't see the guy shoot. and some random voice from the sky said - that's the guy shoot him - the cop listened and shot him? what if that wasn't the guy? same reaction? and 7 rounds? at point blank range? |

the problem is not only the guns, it's also the crazy people this great society creates.

Does any one remember that guy who shot like 50 kids (in Sweden I think) and was able to shoot that many because no one else had a gun? Yeah I'm going to keep my Mosin Nagant. Gun control keeps guns out of the hands of sane people, not criminals. I guarantee you that this guy would have gotten a gun anyways since he was obviously determined enough to go through with this. besides, this took place in California, which has some of the strictest gun control of the US. |

Well, I'm glad Chris was brave (and smart) enough to actually DO something! Possibly saved some lives.
He ran low on ammo, no indication that he was out.
Criminals will get more guns, regardless of "laws". 1001 laws would not stop this sort of thing from happening again. Laws only take guns away from law-abiding citizens, making them easy, defenseless victems. |

I realize he was a huge threat but shouldn't hte officer tried to talk him down? Or at that point, after firing randomly around town, enough to shoot on site?
I'm on the fence about it. Clearly the guy ran out of ammo else he wouldn't of been asking for more. Without ammo he isn't a danger to anyone. |
