Having read some comments, I think I understand it a little better now. My childhood was many years past by the time PlayStation was available. This sound means nothing to me. |

I was really hoping and expecting to hear something that would give me an "eargasm" or anything of that sort, in the same way that certain frequencies can induce nausea and vomiting, but all I heard was an annoying hum that some people associate with a game they played years ago. |

What person who actually owned a playstation actually wants to hear this sound EVER again? Personally the only thing this sound represents for me is how much of my life was wasted waiting for it to finally finish and get off of my screen so that I could actually play the game.
If you ever owned a playstation you should feel exactly the same way. |
