Spider_sol...to answer your quesion, old people here only understand the British Empirical Measurements Standards (inches, miles, stones, yards etc - the stuff you guys adopted from us). Younger people were raised to understand the metric system...but.. To help not confuse the elderly tooo much, we are switching over to metric very slowly...over generations in fact. As it stands, we stopped measuring food in lbs and ounces, in favour of euro kilograms...but for now we still drive in miles not kilometers. We generally measure the size of items in euro centimetres and millimetres. Clothes and people are one exception, which are still measured in feet and inches. In my opinion, It's kinda backfired, and now everyone is confused about everything. We should've just swapped overnight and had a little confusion for a while...but that's not the way we do things. evolution not revolution is our way. |

You're right. Spider_Sol. I'd put his feet at about 15-16 inches. Because you can see his foot compared to everyday objects, as well as the shoe he compares his foot to, which is about 12 inches on the nose. |

Those are big feet but not as big as he claims. 24 inches(at 1:12)?? Not even slightly. Also, do you guys really use inches that much over there? Most lengths I hear from the UK involve inches now-a-days. |
