NOT FUNNY!
Just got my car completely dented due to some drathead who couldn't connect the dots:
1: Heavy storm
2: Massive trampoline in garden
3: Parking lot on other side of hedge
And then a neighbour told me "Again? That's the third time!"... FFFFUUUUUUUUUU...... |

The high winds tonight that took parts of our house away (Newfoundland, Eastern Canada), made this video especially poignant. I laughed because it hits home - before we bought our current house, the previous occupants had a trampoline like that. The neighbours told us that they were at home one evening during such a storm when the trampoline (belonging to the previous owners of our house) slammed up against their house and drove the leg of the damn thing right through the wall of their dining room... Literally a big spike through the drating wall.
I wasn't joking when I posted on Bookface earlier about houses in North America being made from f*cking cardboard... |

Please.. that's nothing.. The Faroe islands was hit with 100mph wind and 126mph gusts, and 60! foot waves on 24 of november..
Highest recorded gust in Scotland today was 149mph, with 100mph being sustained for a bit.
No big waves, though. But a lot of minor flooding from storm surges blowing rivers up roads.
"Hurricane Bawbag" isn't entirely trivial. |
