Wednesday, December 07, 2011 10:54:42 AM so the end of this story will be that the guy who filmed it will get a fine for using a phone while driving. because i'm certain that if your filming and driving - that's just as bad if not worse than talking. |

Sunday, December 04, 2011 8:07:24 PM "Headline Fail X2" While the video doesn't match the caption, it is true that they have been charged. See the documents here and here |

Sunday, December 04, 2011 5:55:22 PM It wasn't an accident, they were street racing on purpose and they happened to crash. The street racing part is what they are in trouble for. |

Sunday, December 04, 2011 5:16:59 PM While it's interesting that they could face fines/tickets/jail possibly, it is absolutely most satisfying that they will *definitely* be hit in the pocketbooks. The video has, by now, been noticed by their respective insurance companies. The driver on the right will not have any insurance payment. He was at fault. His car is his responsibility. The OTHER car is his responsibility too. His insurance will completely deny both claims, and force him to pay. If the driver on the left then attempts to use his underinsured/non-insured clause to quickly resolve the situation, he will likely be denied as well, because his insurance will likely also have seen this. They should simply walk away from this and pay their own damages. If they try to claim/fight it in any way, lawyers will get all of the money. Love it. Very nice, way to go idiots. |

Sunday, December 04, 2011 4:17:27 PM "Idiots? Yes. Deserving of felonies? No." Hmm.. Residential area, possibility of children being present and limited visibility. Should be a felony. |

Sunday, December 04, 2011 3:36:33 PM From a website about Texas law: While it is a Class B misdemeanor on first offense, a road racing charge becomes a Class A if you have a previous conviction, were drinking while racing, or had an open container in the vehicle. If you’ve been convicted of racing on highway twice before, the charge becomes a state jail felony, punishable by six months to two years in a state facility. Drag racing is a third-degree felony – 2 to 10 years – if a person is hurt. It is a second-degree felony, punishable by up to 20 years, if a person is seriously injured or killed.

Sunday, December 04, 2011 2:09:22 PM Forget the police...if the insurance company catches wind of this, they wont pay for the repairs. Dumbasses. What a way to ruin two $40,000+ cars. |

Sunday, December 04, 2011 1:36:28 PM Hey douchenozzle, I mean mrpuddle, there's a time and place to drive fast. On a street with stoplights and an obviously slow speed limit isn't one. Maybe some idiot will hit you or your family someday and you'll realize how stupid the guys were acting. Take it to a race track, don't be an idiot. Enjoying your car isn't an excuse for an accidental injury. |

It's like at the beginning hes jealous about how slow his car is so he wants to ruin everyone else's time. |
