i'm guessing it's short for Terrible Pixels. either way, even if it had that many pixels i'm not shooting with a bright blue camera with what looks kind of like a penguin on the front. i would say that a size that large would be around what 400 megs a piece? more? |

About youtube: I never used the subscription or channel stuff, so the front page has always been pretty useless for me. And to be fair to them, they tried to make it more "sticky", and I just spent nearly an hour on there after only going on to remind myself what it looked like now. |

Gerry, right. YouTube sucks. The layout is crowded and has lost all simplicity, trying to get you to buy stuff you don't want and share all your activities with your followers and social media. Essentially, it's becoming like IAB, but in white.
The main difference is I can use the AdBlock add-in for Firefox to strip IAB back to uncrowded simplicity. |

Essersmith: You've never held a Hasselblad camera in your hands have you ?
They are the Rolls Royce of cameras, second to none. Take a picture with that particular model and you could theoretically make a print the size of a 4 story building and not loose detail. |

YouTube sucks now.
And just because it's free doesn't mean we can't complain about it. YouTube exists to make money. They do that by appealing to US, the viewers. If it doesn't work for us VIMEO will get more customers.
MySpace thought they were a permanent thing once too. |

Depending on the depth of colour (bits per pixel = bbp) your image will probably have around 16-24 bbp (Although I don't know what modern cameras use). That makes 2-3 bytes per pixel -> around 10-15 Terabyte per image. According to amazon.com a 2 TB external harddrive costs around 120$. So you would be spending 600-900$ per image. |

I think it's fake. The lens is faceted, the flash is a piece of plastic, set in a hole and the viewfinder and sensor are empty. Looking at other images of this camera, it is clearly a pretend camera. The "terapixle" thing is just a funny thing printed on the front, to make it clear that it's not a real camera. |

@patchouly, its a real camera, but its not 5.5 Terapixels, (obviously)some research found its equivalent to a disposable camera.
