Funny thing is, i was just on reddit, and there was a cat post and someone said "don't make any 'pussy'" jokes. nobody did. I haven't been on here for months for reasons obvious, i just came by to see if i could find one sad pathetic "pussy" joke in reference to cats on the front page, EXCLUSIVELY. I was not disappointed.

I love cats, had 4 at one time in my life, they don't pump any fear into me, same with dogs. I've had to come close to gutting a dog to save my life.
A phobia isn't neutralized as easy as thinking "get over it!"
I agree, it's absurd to have a cat or cats as a phobia, but it is what it is, fear is the mind-killer. |

Fully agree with carmium. This is ridiculous. At what point could ANYTHING traumatic happen to an individual from a domestic cat to cause any sort of phobia or anxiety? The big mexican dude saw his buddy get ripped to shreds by a pitbull when he was a little boy, so he was terrified of em, makes sense. What's this bitch's story? |

When I see this my first thought is to open one or two of the doors and hug some of them. I like cats, sue me.
What I see here is almost Shellshock level fear. Something had to have made her that scared. Not trying to justify it, but something had to trigger it. |

Come on! I wouldn't want to get cuddly with poisonous snakes, alligators, gila monsters, etc., but I've watched them up close from behind glass and I think most people have. This is someone who has completely indulged a misplaced discomfort for years until it has become almost psychotic. |

reminds me of my mothers friend that's scared to even look at a picture of a cat.
there was one time when she and her sister were at a park when she spotted a kitten from about 30 feet away and it started walking towards her. She ran to her car and got the hell up outta there in less than 30 seconds. |
