meh
you have a fingerprint magnet, that did things a mouse could have for $1200 less. and you see how far you have to reach to get to the top. and why the keyboard? seems clumsy to have to slide it out of the way.
i can see installing it into the wall with voice activation, make my own enterprise bridge or console, but beyond that, it's a bit silly. i'll wait for the holographic version where i have to keep my arms in the air the whole time. |

So I have to reach across my table to choose a menu bar and make a sweeping motion to get rid of a calendar, not to mention the fact that it limits what I can put on my desk while I am working?
Doesn't work for me, I prefer two monitors. At that price, I could have three monitors. |

A couple spring to mind.. Table sized interactive surface for illustrators, (if it's accurate enough) A virtual full size mixing desk for producers/musicians, eliminating the need for another monitor in many cases.. Not to mention all the plug ins that could be altered at your fingertip without obscuring the screen with them..

Hmmm. Interesting interesting... finally something with potential. ... unlike that stupid futuristic kitchen idea a while back.
$1300 you say? Well that's a bit much. It can come down of course, as MCMXCIII says, with a little innovation.
Now all we have to do is think of some unique applications.
Any ideas?

This is only cool when you built it yourself.
I actually have one like that; without the fancy programs of course. Building a multi-touch surface is actually simple enough, you can find the instruction online. |

The actual keyboard, I like because I like having that physical tapping and whatnot. And I think that mouse is for the monitor up top. but why is that monitor there? It seems rather useless... multitasking? |
