You compare yourselves to the Middle East protestors who are getting gunned down and beaten to death by their government, yet you scream like silly little ninnies when the big bad police make your eyes water.
...You do realize pepper spray is a chemical weapon, several times more intense than the world's hottest chilis, I hope. And how there are cases where people who were sprayed had to be hospitalized, in some cases coughing up blood.
Pepper spray is meant to be an alternative to using a firearm. If you're not willing to shoot the person, you shouldn't be spraying them with weapons-grade chemicals. |

The middle eastern protestors also have guns and rocks and are fighting back. Good ole OWS'ers are being fenced in and maced while peacefully protesting, meaning they just have a presence and want people to notice them and join their cause... still not exactly sure what their cause is, but their complaints are legitimate. And I would bet there have been thousands of officers deployed, and hundreds of incidents, you can only remark on the ones that have received media attention. |

I would say that the fact that there have been hundreds of officers deployed and only a handful of incidents of police brutality shows that most of them have read it.

Pepper spray = rule #4, minimum force necessary. It doesn't cause any lasting harm and controls unruly/disobedient crowds of dirty, stinky, poo-covered marxists bent on the destruction of the American constitution. Seems okay to me. |

This explains everything! The police don't necessarily ignore the laws and constitutional rights created to protect Americans, they're simply illiterate. All protestors who are talented artists, your new duty is draw pictures to help the cops understand. Start with a cop pepper spraying innocent citizens, and than draw a big circle with a slash though it, and lets hope they realize this means NO. |

Obviously fake. As we've all learned from videos on Youtube, the role of riot police is to be as brutal as humanly possible against protesters, bystanders and the media. They are all ordered to lay a beatdown on anybody standing up to the man!
