Monday, November 28, 2011 9:52:53 AM Maybe it was suppose to be fake blood, if so they failed on the color. Colours on masks and face paint mean things in traditional Japanese theatre. I vaguely recalled the use of face paint, so I looked it up earlier in this thread. Pale red signifies youth, cheerfulness or optimism. A bit darker red indicates determination, passion, vigour. Seems to fit. |

Monday, November 28, 2011 2:12:06 AM " OK you face paint claimers. Why? First of all her face isn't bleeding until after impact 6:23. Second it makes no sense. She slides down into water and instead of looking for her shorts she pulls red paint from her easily accessible vagina? All of you have lost your minds." For one the color of the red has why to much violet color in it to be blood. It is paint. Maybe it was suppose to be fake blood, if so they failed on the color. |

Sunday, November 27, 2011 7:10:46 PM Well, certainly there's more evidence of it being blood than face paint. Where does she get it? She must be applying it with her hand. Think I would be able to catch that. Whatever. You run with your unsupported theory that make no sense what so ever. I'll run with the logical one. |

Sunday, November 27, 2011 6:19:09 PM Yeah whatever Angilion. I'm still running with the blood theory. Of course you are, because you don't care about inconveniences such as evidence. You take your faith-based positions, call them theories and disregard all evidence. The face paint theory is retarded, makes no sense and serves no purpose. It explains what is observed (which your hypothesis doesn't), it holds up to examination against the evidence (which your hypothesis doesn't) and it's plausible (which your hypothesis isn't). You are no better than a devout creationist saying that evolution is a retarded idea. "retarded" doesn't actually mean "doesn't match my faith". Face paint makes sense for public performances in Japan, given the tradition in Japanese theatre. |

Sunday, November 27, 2011 6:16:49 PM so are we seriously having a discussion about this? Is anyone truly denying that its facepaint @ 6:34? |

Sunday, November 27, 2011 4:58:10 PM Yeah whatever Angilion. I'm still running with the blood theory. Her face is blood red @ 0:14. Before the game even begins. OK eagle eye? The face paint theory is retarded, makes no sense and serves no purpose. Congratulations on the thinking and reading by the way.. You know how to impress! |

Sunday, November 27, 2011 4:40:17 PM @Angilion - I think that's where the nature of the problem is, just mistaken identity. Meh, it happens, no worries.

Sunday, November 27, 2011 4:39:28 PM I'll put a warning here for all of the people offended by evidence and reasoning. If that applies to you, stop now and go hump a cow or whatever it is you people do for fun. Which scenario really seems more likely? i) A person with skin so pale that it looks like make-up cuts her head open while sliding on oiled rubber without any impact to her head. It bleeds exactly uniformly over exactly half of her face only, neatly divided right down the middle. One side, no blood. Other side, the same amount of blood everywhere. No variation in colour, no drops of blood running down. In short, bleeding without any reason for injury and which somehow forms *staining exactly the same as she'd get from painting half her face white and the other half reddish-pink.* She continues playing and laughing for another 10 minutes. ii) She painted half her face white and the other half reddish-pink. In a culture where face painting for public performances is part of traditi |

Sunday, November 27, 2011 4:25:04 PM Her face isn't red when she's climbing the steps before the bare-assed fall though. A good point...apart from the fact that it is and the fact that she didn't fall. Are you mistaking two different women? Had you noticed that there's more than one woman in the video? Have you watched the video at all? |

Sunday, November 27, 2011 4:13:21 PM Really Mr. Authority? Did you even watch the video? They replay it in slow motion and the impact is cringe worthy. You are no more an expert on anything. You are capable of thought. Just try it. It doesn't hurt. You don't need to pretend to be stupid and deride those who don't bother. I'm going to continue thinking and I'm going to continue giving reasons to support any conclusions I make. I'm not going to be like you, pretend I can't think, pull conclusions out of nothing and deride anyone who doesn't do the same. I'm not an authority. I'm just someone who doesn't pretend to be stupid and illiterate. It's a sad reflection on anyone who can't tell the difference between the two. I'd suggest that you watch the video before commenting on it, but what's the point? Since you just make stuff up, the only thing you need is your imagination. |

Sunday, November 27, 2011 4:06:42 PM madest: You can praise deliberate ignorance as much as you like, but it won't make it admirable. You're just degrading society by doing so. I can think and I've read quite a bit. So those who praise ignorance (like you) deride me for knowing a little about a variety of things. It's sad and harmful to yourselves, the countries you live in and humanity in general. You are the mindless vandals of thought and knowledge. |

Sunday, November 27, 2011 3:48:25 PM It's Japanese, of course it doesn't make sense, but that's part of what makes it fun, no point, no prize, just funny. I wish we could be more like that, America is almost too afraid to laugh at itself. But at least we still have fails of the week and clip shows. |

Sunday, November 27, 2011 3:22:54 PM Wow, you're right. Her face isn't red when she's climbing the steps before the bare-assed fall though. WTF. Why? Unless they practiced and she hurt herself before the show, it still makes no sense about face paint though. OK Angilion, Your know-it-all status is still intact. |

Sunday, November 27, 2011 2:59:20 PM @madest - half her face was red BEFORE they even STARTED (0:14)... you can see it again when she's half way up with out ever falling at (1:04)and her face was red when she hit the water, also note she NEVER FELL....she layed down to crawl up the slanted area, her pants were pulled and she SLID down into the water (2:24) Sure was "cringe worthy" sliding there.... Sorry, but your off on this one. just enjoy the video.
