Oral Roberts was either a lunatic or a thief who said...
1977 - Claimed to have seen a 900 foot Jesus.
1983 - Jesus visited Roberts in person.
1986 - God demanded $8 million in donations for his school or God would kill him.
1987 - God demanded another $8 million or God would "take him home" ie Kill him.
Fortunately he raised 9.1 million.
1987 - Oral Roberts closes the school, keeps the money.
1988 - Roberts stopped Scholarship program. Told students to pay back scholarships @ 18% interest.

She is getting prayed for and praying her self, the pic was just taken at the exact right moment. And Oral Roberts, while he had his flaws, was a great minister who gave of himself greatly and raised up young ministers from nothing and asked for nothing in return from them. He passed away a few years ago, and "Jesus Freaks" like myself lost a great voice that day and a great example of how to live out what you preach, despite the rumors you hear. |
