i still find it irritating that she set up a camera in her room - because somehow she knew she was going to be beaten that night. so in other words, she set him up the whole time. and for all i know she had protective panties on or something to absorb the blow. |

jkfld: I won't show sympathy for a backstabbing blackmailing spoiled brat that lost her 'beemer' when she refused to finish college on her father's dime.
She should be ashamed, both her mother and her father apologized for their actions over a decade ago, yet this brat still held onto this tape and used it for revenge, she might as well have stabbed her father in his heart, it was betrayal of the worst kind.
He loved her, she decided to live with him after her parents divorced, he paid for all her bills, books, college, and of course, the BMW. Then she repays him, with treachery. |

If CrakrJak stood up for this girl, he'd have to stand up for all the other people who'd ever been similarly abused by their right-wing authoritarian fundamentalist parents--including himself. Asking him to show sympathy for this girl is the same as asking him to spit in his own father's face. |

davymid: False, I never applauded the father for his actions. Of course you couldn't help but bend it that way.
In fact, when this was first submitted, I said he never should've lost his temper and that if, after cooling down, he believed corporal punishment was appropriate that it should've been done without anger.
Why don't you go back and read my original remarks instead of twisting it to rebuke me ?
She is a spoiled brat, that's pretty much a fact after she tried to blackmail her father into getting the BMW, her daddy was paying for, back when she dropped out of college.
Of course I don't know why anyone should expect honesty from the poster boy for Atheist Liberal Socialists. |

The blackmailing, by his daughter, is the real crime here. Her father was taking away her BMW because she wouldn't stay and finish collage, so she released that tape as revenge.
His daughter is an ungrateful greedy spoiled brat, not unlike many kids of her generation. She didn't care to think who would pay her allowance or for her car if her father lost his job and couldn't pay it for her. |

The thing that cheeses me off is he's still getting paid. It's the same with cops and what not. They do something that is illegal and what, and there's an investigation. Let me beat my kid, and I'm in the slammer making special friends with Bertha, the 450 lb. cannibal-rapist whose my cellmate, obviously not getting pay from my job. If I still have such, which I wouldn't having been arrested and all that. |

It would be interesting to find out whether or not Judge Adams has ever been involved in any domestic violence cases. A looootta cases could be overturned or declared mistrial because of this stuff. |
