The names ARE a case of domestic violence btw. How do you expect children with such names to have a normal life ???? |

Names are important. So choose wisely. These children may be outcast because of their parents brilliancy. In the end, if you don't have much, at least you have your good name. ;) |

Naming your kid Mohammad, Gaddafi, Adolph Hitler is just asking for there child to be bullied through life, it's harder for the kid to excell in education when there is bias judgement based on names, it's already happening to alot of people who are named after muslims, and other popular negative inconvient names in history. If your last name was kennedy, people would assume you are related to the Kennedys and you have a family curse on you because of that name. But seriously, wake up, if you named your kid Osama Laden / Binladen. People would really be irritated. Don't name your kid after your terrorist heros. It's just plain stupid. You want your kid to excell and someday become president and bring true change. |

Yes, domestic violence is the excuse used, but Child's Services OFTEN return kids to unspeakable conditions, so the real reason is: they're Nazis.

Being a Nazi isn't illegal. They shouldn't have lost custody.
If the government can conclusively prove that physical harm is coming onto the child by the parents hand, by all means, take them away.
I imagine the kids wouldn't have been taken away if they were named "Franklin Delano Roosevelt". Even though I think FDR is one of the most evil presidents in history, as long as no physical harm was coming onto the child, I would fight to my death for their right to name him that.
Besides, he can always change his name when he turns eighteen, or insist that people refer to him by something that isn't his legal name. |

You can name your kids whatever you want, but there should be consequences if that name is gonna be seriously detrimental to the kid's future. And before someone mentions Shaniqua or Starchild or something like that, those names are in no way guaranteed to have that effect. Names that obviously represent racist ideologies are, wand that ladies and gentleman, is abuse. |

You won't hear me complain about someone naming their kid that. I am not offended. I do however think that the parents are morons for naming the kid that. But the minute a parent can not name their child anything they want we have officially lost all freedom. |

A good portion of the world is named after a child molester. If Muhammad is an ok name, Adolf Hitler is fine, too.
The violence in the home, though, is a good reason to take the kids. |

they let kids be named mohammed?? they let them be named jesus..what is the big deal? can list a name from every nationality that shouldn't be used by that logic, russian, jewish, chinese, and american |

Personally I'd rather live next door to a child named Adolph Hitler than have to sit at a table in a restaurant next to somebody's precious spawn of Satan named Tiffany or Hunter or Madison or Tyler. |

f I had been the person writing the names on the birth certificate, I would have just laughed and said no, then tell them to chose a new one. I hope the nurses at least said something to the parents about how horrible they are.
The last time my mom had a kid, we wrote the name on the paper ourselves. I don't think nurses write the names out now. |
