SarahofBorg - Perhaps you would be interested in the thought that the 12 Days of Christmas was a catechism song and each of the items mentioned was a metaphor for something greater than just birds. |

WRONG
only the first 7 items are birds, and its colly birds (a black bird), not calling birds.
really fun fact though, the first item (partridge), isn't actually a partridge in a pear tree, but rather "a partridge, une perdrix" (french for partridge) |
