Whats worse is they didn't even optimize it properly! So on a kick ass machine its liable to run like poo. Not only is it out of date, its clunky too! At least it looks good for DX9. |

Proof that you can a zillion pixels, and some awesome algo's and yet it still looks artificial.
Too sharp perhaps?
Compared with something like the old GT3 where a bit of blur and it looks real. |

I havnt player heaps of it yet but all the snow areas make it seem the same and all the mountain make it feel less sand box and more linear |

One of the few games I actually bought legally instead of downloading. It's a really good game and I suggest you buy it if you think it looks interesting. |

BEAUTIFUL game. I suggest every "buy" it. gorgeous scenery, gorgeous gameplay (like witcher 2 and fallout 3 combined), gorgeous storyline (save the world wooo!) and the engine...well, it's bethesda so yeah. (still a step up from FO3 though) |

Fallout 3 had terrible graphics, but super intense gameplay and such an engaging storyline, I spent a good 7 months playing it almost every single night after work for hours on end. Skyrim is looking to do the same for me. |

Yeah, a little. Somethings are better than others for sure as far as detail, but either way I'd definitely take a relatively small hit on graphics if it means incredible gameplay (There are much uglier games out there for sure) |
