Wednesday, December 21, 2011 9:45:43 PM Nah, I'm with Jacque Fresco on the whole root of all ideas. No invention's blueprint is just immediately drawn from the universe, it is our process of learning, understanding, adapting and improving upon our mistakes that gradually, through trial and error, allows us to test new things and in time produce new inventions through abstract ideas. But no idea, say for an airplane, is a perfect vision of its full functionality. |

Monday, November 21, 2011 9:06:33 PM alot of this just bends my mind, there are things out there that we understand perfectly, yet we may very well never understand truly due to the limitations of our physical minds. we can only perceive what the chemical reactions--the very limited chemical reactions-- in our brain allow us to perceive. |

Monday, November 21, 2011 8:38:55 PM If Joe's not sure, he should throw himself off a building. If he lands like he's fallen onto a giant marshmallow, shakes himself off and says "that was trippy" then he is dreaming. If he pops like a fly on a windscreen, and for that one fleeting moment, embraces the sheer overwhelming agony of it all before fading to black, then I think it'd be safe to say he was (previously) conscious. |

Monday, November 21, 2011 12:59:56 PM Defendors87- Dear god I hope you are a troll, because you've pointed out the only use for your god. Filling in the blanks of human intelligence. Before we knew the Earth circled the sun, it was god that made it happen. |

Monday, November 21, 2011 12:49:32 PM @defendors87 If we all did, there wouldn't be amazing questions like this. Everything would be so boring if everything was explained as, 'God did it.' There would be no mystery, or fascination. And no, I've never done any form of drugs. |

Monday, November 21, 2011 11:33:08 AM @artmunki: Probably true. @Webz: I think that's his point, there are no mundane everyday things. |

Monday, November 21, 2011 11:31:57 AM If only more people believed in God... That would fill in the blanks. I would quote scripture, but it would fall on deaf and very defensive ears. |

Monday, November 21, 2011 11:11:12 AM This kind of existential thinking is facinating and mind boggeling and fustrating at the same time. Because we'll most likely never know the answers or be subjugated by a religious dictatorship that bans blasphemous thinking :D Not that i can say anything for this Rogan character but not all trippy mind poo like this is drug-related, although i can see the stereotype fine. |

Monday, November 21, 2011 9:59:01 AM Does this guy walk around all day screaming "WHAT THE F>CK!?!?" at mundane, everyday things like...i dunno....toilets flushing or dogs barking. Still, I love this sort of thing! |
