$18,000 in overdraft fees? One really easy way to avoid that...don't spend more money than you have in the bank (I know, diabolical).
Are we supposed to be concerned that 1) he does not know how much money he put INTO the bank & 2) he's too stupid to read a statement.
My statement has many different balances on it. Like, my current statement at one point says my balance is $2,316.16, and right underneath that it says that after an ATM transaction of $100, I NOW have a balance of $2,216.16. Man, THAT'S CONFUSING!
Plus, the fact that banks use money you put into them to invest should only come as news to the very stupid.
And, a word to the chick, being blonde and cute in no way makes up for being terminally stupid. |

18K in overdrafts... Maybe Kevin should, you know, keep track of how much money he has in his account like the rest of the world. One good law did come about recently however, and now banks can no longer refuse to deny you the overdraft service. Back when I was living paycheck to paycheck, I asked my bank to simply decline payment if the money wasn't there, but they refused. Now they can't, and I don't have overdraft protection anymore. |

Um.. Yeah, they have been doing it for years. But I guess if no one knew, then it's best to know now. I personally just use my wallet, but then again. I have completely broke and homeless. :) |
