Sunday, November 20, 2011 12:36:04 PM That was awesome! That guy really has a great deal of skill and dedication. Plus the lydian mode is probably my favorite. Very cool stuff. |

Sunday, November 20, 2011 10:11:13 AM @thelonious of course he's strumming. If you have a guitar at home, go depress any of the strings against the fretboard. It makes a faint noise, he's just got a pickup that can pick that up. It's typical guitar technique and the principle behind a hammer on. |

Sunday, November 20, 2011 5:47:47 AM Just to clarify, the "blocking" of the sound hole is to stop feed back. Amplified acoustics are very prone to feed back when plugged into an amp. Blocking the sound hole stops the feed back but doesn't change the sound of the instrument (they are either mic'ed from the inside or have a pickup that sits under the bridge. |

Sunday, November 20, 2011 5:35:17 AM "Well there's lots of things you can do when you have pickups tuned so you don't even need to strum. I don't trust an acoustic with it's interior blocked out. Sort of takes away from the whole point of not having an electric" If you don't understand what you are seeing then do not comment as if you do. It will save you looking dumb to the rest of us. |

Sunday, November 20, 2011 1:37:02 AM @thelonious I'm pretty sure he blocked the inside so you can hear his drumming through the amp... thelonious = Hater |

Saturday, November 19, 2011 6:15:57 PM calvangri is correct, I typo'd whilst submitting. In my defense, I was listening to the song at the time so I very distracted. So yes, it is indeed JON Gomm. My apologies. |

Saturday, November 19, 2011 4:17:43 PM That was breathtaking. I'm astounded by his talent and technique. And then he started singing and managed to kick the whole thing up to 11. Just amazing. |
