@kinky_afr0: That's really not true at all. It is not normal to have any type of cellular material in milk. Milks held to really high standards and most dairies run the California Mastitis Test (CMT) on their cows prior to milking (or on the batch after its been collected) which measures somatic cell counts (or the number of cells in the milk) to ensure cellular material is below minimums (which is very low). That's to make sure that if any cow has any type of infection that can get to the milk, their milk isn't added to the main batch and ruins all of it. On top of that, milk gets tested before it can be sold to ensure that you don't have high cell counts in milk. |
