Wednesday, November 17, 2004 1:44:20 AM These drums are owned and played by Mike Portnoy of the bands Dream Theater, Transatlantic, Liquid Tension Experiment, and several others. The tune that plays as the drums load is called "We All Need Some Light" and is written by Neal Morse from Spock's Beard; the band playing is Transatlantic (Neal is the lead vocalist in Transatlantic). Go listen to 'em - http://www.dreamtheater.net, http://www.transatlanticweb.com, http://www.mikeportnoy.com - far better than a lot of the crap that makes the charts these days |
