Oh they are talking about the caged show bears,
They usually raised from pup and have their teeth removed and when not performing caged.
Or worse still caged and milked for their bile, which is used in Chinese medicine.
These can't be released back in to the wild. They are rescued and given medical treatment and required space, contact with other bears and don't have to ride the cycle ever again.
It's a good charity. |

Irony or not, a 1,000 sqft enclosure with no roof is more free than a 5 sqft enclosure with kneeling room only. |

Its about freeing Chinese bears that are held in cages small enough so they cannot move, while holes are cut and kept open so they can drain stomach bile to put into Chinese medicine. |
