To be fair davy, I did deliberately change it to a different wrong caption. The intention being a little tongue-in-cheek humour. But it seems these military types can't take a joke.
I don't even know what the varying uniforms of the armed services of my OWN country look like, never mind a different one.
To be so deeply offended by the thought of being mistaken for a member of a different branch of the military seems pretty pathetic and childish to me. I would have hoped that military service instils a degree of maturity which would elevate you above such puerile concerns, but it seems I am wrong about that.
Which branch this guy serves in is utterly irrelevant to the point of the video, but if you're going to complain this much about it I'll change the caption to read Army. |

Also, can't speak for others, but in case there's any doubt as to how much we respect our military, here's my Bookface status for Remembrance Day (I hardly ever post), copy-pasta'd:

I am done with your ridiculous website forever. I have been a on the MODS' side quite a few times and have defended this site from some pretty harsh opinions, however I now know I am dealing with people who cannot and will not grasp simple logic.
You think it is OK to misrepresent a person who has chosen to lay down his or her life for their country? The USAF whom I have worked with quite often are high in honor for completely different reasons than the ARMY. Same with Marines and Navy and Coast Guard. Do you think I, as a Marine want to be misrepresented to the public at large? I have trained, bled, been through multiple wars, dodged bullets and rockets and generally feared for my life for fifteen years with the Marines... why would i stayed for my branch to be misrepresnted? Do you think Osirous (Sp?) would want to be called a Marine or Air Force? |
