Sunday, November 13, 2011 11:23:07 AM I think this guy should talk to a poultry farmer who has a contract with a company like Purdue and see how much money the farmer makes as opposed to how much money the company makes and how much money it costs to run her or his farm and tell me a fair portion of my money is going to the farmer when I buy packaged meat. I have never been in need. I use my computer everyday, always have the kind of food I want and own multiple pairs of pants. I had my school paid for and everything else. That doesn't mean I can't imagine what my life would be like if I didn't have a family that could give me those things and it doesn't mean I haven't told them they are as responsible for my achievements in life as I myself am and I couldn't have done it without them. I can work 10 hour days on my feet and have a 10 minute lunch for a little more than minimum wage even though I have a BS. If I think there's a possibility the system can be improved and feel it a valid reason to argue, why bitch ab |

Better yet, 3.5 days in a part of the world where there is no water or food or electricity, disease and Civil war is rampant. Then they might appreciate that they actually are NOT the 99% on a global scale. |

Friday, November 11, 2011 6:42:41 PM He's got a point. But on the other hand, maybe the protesters who are spending countless nights sitting in a tent without even a razor to shave their armpits already have a reason to appreciate better what the 1% take for granted? |

Friday, November 11, 2011 5:55:44 PM @C_Frost: They arn't getting paid to sit behind a desk. They are the only people that are able, and trusted, to do the job they do. If farmer joe or anybody on wall street was able to work as hard or do as good of a job as them then they would be paid millions of dollars too. |

Friday, November 11, 2011 4:03:04 PM this argument would make sense if the people that did all the hard work got the money but it's the ceos that make millions of dollars a year to sit behind a desk |

The media will always show the hippy dippy drum circle at OWS even if it's not the average person there. Just as they always show the drag queen at the Gay Pride Parade even though 99% are dressed like you or I. Log off the net... go down and have a look for yourself at your local protest. The fact that there probably is a protest near you should tell you something. |

This guy makes idiocy seem smart. He speaks so well you stop listening to the actual content of his words and you just go with the feeling of it. He's calm, he's loquacious, therefore he must be right... right? Danger Will Robinson! Danger! |

Friday, November 11, 2011 3:18:00 PM I feel like he is only talking to a certain group of protesters- namely the ones who don't know what OWS is about.
