Thursday, October 27, 2011 6:38:05 PM It is nice to see people marching/occupying for what they believe in, it is the opposite of making the cause look silly, it is noble and right. I would like to live in a better world, where the richest 1% do not control society, I honestly think that would be a better world for all of us. |

Thursday, October 27, 2011 3:43:24 PM At the 0:20 mark, you can see people rush over to Scott Olsen (veteran who's laying on the ground) to help. at 0:30 mark, you can see another projectile thrown into the crowd helping him out. They show it again in slow motion. Judge for yourself. Judge for yourself |

Thursday, October 27, 2011 3:17:15 PM @auburnjunky- I found out about the police going berserk on the Daily Show. Went to youtube and saw about the marine getting his skull fractured, I don't think the media are that fond of this movement. The videos i saw were cops repeatedly shooting tear gas into the crowd at close range, even as they were helping to carry the veteran away. And were they throwing things like u say, before or after being shot at with tear gas? Our government goes around calling for regime change when foreign people are being abused but turn a blind to whats happening to their own people. |

Thursday, October 27, 2011 3:10:33 PM Voting the corrupt politicians out of office would be the ideal way of doing it, i completely agree.. The problem however, is that there are so mindbogglingly many sheep in the US.. Stupid people who don't know that europe is a continent, not a country.. they think what they're told to think and vote how they're told to vote.. Even if the education system was much better than it actually is, it would probably be something like 30 years before enough ignorant people have died off, so that some actual change can be implemented through elections.. And as you pointed out, a coup is out of the question... So how would you suggest they proceed? |

Thursday, October 27, 2011 3:01:43 PM @Kain1 That would be like saying "evolution isn't true, because Darwin married his cousin".. Well of course. Marrying your cousin would sure to result in some mutated genes, therefore, kickstarting evolution. Duh. |

Thursday, October 27, 2011 2:48:26 PM @Kain: Throwing a strike, or having violent protests, is not the way to effect change. You can either vote out the offenders, and elect trustworthy, patriotic countrymen, or you can form an army and actually overthrow your leaders. We can't possibly do the second, so the first is what we are gonna hafta do. Staging some misled, misunderstood sit ins won't do anything, except make your cause look silly. |

Thursday, October 27, 2011 2:21:47 PM "Say no to debt and austerity." Hmmm, seems to me that they don't go hand in hand. It's either austerity, or you rack up debt. Shows the general intelligence of people who think a general strike is the best way of accomplishing anything other than getting fired for being a douche. |

Thursday, October 27, 2011 2:16:48 PM I just don't get it.. i don't understand how people who obviously possess a fair amount of intelligence can be against this.. It is blindingly painfully obvious that the american government has been corrupted by corporate contributions and the strings attached to them.. The government is no longer primarily serving the people, and the banks are allowed to exploit the people.. That's basically why they're protesting.. It's not about politics, it's about not getting drated up the ass.. And yes, there is a large number of dirty hippies in the crowd. But that doesn't make their message any less valid.. That would be like saying "evolution isn't true, because Darwin married his cousin".. |

Thursday, October 27, 2011 2:12:09 PM Just had the word from a family member who owns two small businesses and employes just over 25 people: He will be accepting applications for employment to fill 'X' number of vacant positions on Nov. 3rd. ('X = the number of his employees who lay out on Nov. 2nd') |

Thursday, October 27, 2011 1:57:20 PM "Iraq Veteran Scott Olsen was shot in the face by a police projectile. Now in the hospital with fractured skull and brain swelling. They need to understand that firing on war veterans and peaceful unarmed protesters will get them no where." They were rioting, and using glass bottles, and slingshots against police. That's neither peaceful, or unarmed. You are a media sheep. |

Want to protest banks? Stop using your credit and atm cards. Use cash. Deny them the percentage of the sale they charge. Deny them the interest they charge you. The ONLY way to hurt a bank is in it's wallet. |

Thursday, October 27, 2011 1:29:13 PM I never said it was. If anything, it's anti-liberal, anti-established protocol. Established protocol (i.e. tax and spend, same poo different day) is a VERY liberal agenda. |
