In a way, it's true. If you psychologically abuse your partner, you can sometimes make them stay longer by destroying their self-esteem so they think they deserve it and can't ever get anything better.

I find this poo hilarious. Even more so when a 20 something female who has never had a good relationship tries to back it up with something they read online.
My girlfriend never nags, we talk things out if there is a disagreement. *Pro tip* That is how you build a relationship, not with bugging the hell out of your man till he want's to pop you in the teeth. |

Actually, from my experience this is somewhat true although I wouldn't use the term "nag". Men for the most part are very low level thinkers and easily regress to the infantile stage in many situations. This is why nagging or taking control of your man (bossing him around and such) is so important. Deep down they love this as it reminds them of the role their mothers used to play. |
