Thursday, November 03, 2011 8:21:29 PM Yeah i agree, the OWS have nothing on real radicals. Go to Europe or Down here to see people fighting for their rights. |

Tuesday, October 25, 2011 2:25:06 PM Yeah you can mock him but he is right about the economy, and many who sympathize with OWS. The main message I've heard from the beginning is restoration of capitalism and justice. Seems pretty logical too, in the context of the problems that we are facing. |

Monday, October 24, 2011 9:06:08 PM That's so true that there's no need to mention it, Fatninja01. Perhaps you had a point to make but got distracted. |

Monday, October 24, 2011 9:01:33 PM Lol, enough with the fallacies, Archer. Go study up on something besides the art of arguing. And while you're at it, read a novel that wasn't written by Ayn Rand. Broaden your little mind. |

Monday, October 24, 2011 5:29:57 PM Just because a businessman joins a protest doesnt mean that he is speaking on behalf off all businessmen. |

The system we have currently in place is not new, we've done it before. 150 years ago there were Corporate Barons. The uber-rich 1%. The Vanderbilts, Rockerfellers and the Astors. Then 98% was the uber-poor. 1% in between. If you want to go back to that sit on your ass. Rick Parry wants to eliminate the minimum wage. All the candidates favor getting rid of SSI & Medicare. Meanwhile, don't bother saving because it's legal for Wall Street to steal your money. If you don't mind your children working in facories instead of going to school, then just sit on your ass and do nothing. |

Monday, October 24, 2011 4:01:30 PM People act like all these protesters want are handouts, BUT when the banks got handouts they didn't give a drat. And as far as a capitalist system is concerned, we have not been living in one. We live in a debt based system. |

Monday, October 24, 2011 3:43:25 PM Just because he's a businessman and he supports the OWS protests does not "make the protests seem the only logical move". That's some sort of appeal to authority fallacy. That just makes him a hypocrite. |

Monday, October 24, 2011 3:20:13 PM "But I'll tell you what, if they all manage to tough through a New York winter they will have some credit given to them, especially if some people die in the process!" Hm what? No. If ppl cant see that theres an issue with the system, no amount of protesting will change that, no matter how long you do it for. Just like ppl have faith in god, ppl have faith in the system, and nothing will ever change their mind no matter how much proof you shove in their faces. In fact, shoving proof in there face of how completely, utterly and obviously wrong they are only tends to reinforce their opinions. And about ppl dying: If a couple of ppl dying of cold in a rich country was enough of a wakeup call to change things, well there would be no OWS in the first place. |

Monday, October 24, 2011 2:59:12 PM Firstly this is starting to look like another wolf in sheep's clothing. The 1% joins in and have things passed to appear to appease everyone but nothing actually changes at all, LOL! Give it 2 more months, there won't be a soul occupying anything in New York, not if you like your toes. But I'll tell you what, if they all manage to tough through a New York winter they will have some credit given to them, especially if some people die in the process! |
