Monday, October 24, 2011 5:24:44 AM People grieve differently in that part of the world. Never saw a lady scream like that during Katrina, or the 'Bama tornadoes, or other serious disasters. |

Sunday, October 23, 2011 10:22:50 PM @klamz, 18 - 29? It's a little late for you to be 'young & follish' boy. Most of us are lucky never to have known what a natural disaster means. Count your blessings and send some to those who are unfortunate. Turkish gov should look at what Japanese regulations/innovations are in architect and engineering , to protect it's citizens. |

Klamz - you're absolutely right. What business did those 5 year old have staying inside during an earthquake? Are they just too lazy to dig their way out? Klamz, you license to post is revoked. Say one more word and we'll take away your license to breathe. |

Sunday, October 23, 2011 3:27:31 PM @everyone who was just talking @Klamz, well, you know what tho, i would easily say turkey is worth mentioning in the largest earthquakes. they should take some Javanese architects over to design some stuff and make the buildings safer. |

Sunday, October 23, 2011 1:29:56 PM @Klamz -- I would happily take two mortgages out on my house to make this bet with you: I'll put you on the second story of a 10-story apt building, hit your kneecap with a bat as hard as i can, and if you make it out alive, you win. if not, i'll take your life savings and maybe your dog if it's a pit. |

Sunday, October 23, 2011 12:44:00 PM @Klamz, Just digging the ruins can make them fall over the trapped people even more, only making the situation worse. And sometimes the Earthquake happens quite fast, or you are locked in the room and no time enough to open in up, or maybe you are sleeping, OR MAYBE YOU ARE A dratING CHILD. |

Sunday, October 23, 2011 12:06:49 PM This happens in Turkey like every other year, you would think they might learn to start building houses a little better. Even so, if you were trapped under there you deserve to die, firstly you should be clawing your way out with every ounce of strength you have I don't care how hurt you are, if you're alive, you have a chance so get yourself out! Secondly if you decide to stay inside during an earthquake you once again deserve to die because you're an idiot. |

Sunday, October 23, 2011 11:41:17 AM Sheesh ppl... Her family is probably under all that rubble. Just imagine yourself in that situation, after you couldn't lift the 3000 lb block of cement. How unsympathetic can you be? |

Sunday, October 23, 2011 11:22:23 AM Who teaches women to scream like that? If you're missing someone help dig and at least don't cry over what muffled pleas for help there might be in the rubble! |

I am in sympathy for the scope and tragedy of the quake, but I want to slap that woman silly for sitting there screaming! Beat her into unconsciousness to shut her up! |
