Monday, October 24, 2011 7:06:49 AM Nothing wrong with having Marijuana possession on your record. Marijuana should never have been made illegal. |

Sunday, October 23, 2011 3:18:56 PM Yeah, Willie was never arrested for tax evasion. His Price Waterhouse accountants set up illegitimate tax havens for him and the IRS ultimately caught up with him to the tune of (IIRC) $35 million. He didn't have the money to pay up, but his attorney negotiated a settlement for a substantial discount. Willie was unable or unwilling to pay the negotiated settlement amount, however - and he then had to release a double compilation album with all proceeds going to pay his tax bill. He has been arrested (four times?) for marijuana possession, however. He's always been a liberal activist; it's one of the traits of his public persona. |

Sunday, October 23, 2011 12:31:44 PM @Student_Law, You are right, but I don't really give a poo anymore. If this whole movement is gonna fail because no one takes it seriously, the people who didn't take it seriously are gonna get drated in the ass. |

Sunday, October 23, 2011 10:05:47 AM I've followed the movement since it's beginning. OWS are fighting for a market that anyone can compete in, responsible banks who stick to lending, not gambling. They want justice, and they are having a "mock trial" with the people of the USA vs. Goldman Sachs. So the only irony here is the people trying to construe OWS as a "socialist" movement. But if you look at the demands, free competitive markets, good banking and justice - they are capitalists in it's true form. The red scare is alive and well, but sooner or later you have to put away the stupid isms and look at the arguments. And the biggest irony in the whole thing, is that US finances today look a lot like Soviet finances. Huge monopolies and oligarchs who own the monitory system, control elections and are above the law. This is what the "commies" in OWS are fighting. |

"I stand for this" and "I stand with that" It's always amazing when that old alcoholic can stand at all. |

Sunday, October 23, 2011 8:31:40 AM Once celebrities start getting involved, things like OWS start to lose their meaning. Oh and Willie if you're too stoned to remember, you're part of the 1%. |

Irony? He trusted a tax attorney who turned out to be an idiot. Not Ironic. On the plus side, Willie is always an cheep, easy halloween costume you can do with a simple bandana, long wig and a bong. :D
