Why in the world did the shop owners start arguing with that woman? Just let her rant, then tell her sorry, a cup of water costs $.20 here. Nothing that woman said really had anything to do with the water, she's just mad at America and life in general and a lot of stuff she sees as unfair. Let her get it off her chest, then she may well either leave quietly or pay for the water...or even a bottle of pop. |

I'm so sick of fat black women screaming at people of other races (whites or other minorities), alleging racism every time they don't like the way someone speaks to them, or the waiter forgot to put mayonnaise on their hamburger, or--in this case--a local convenience store is conspiring to drain wealth from poor blacks by charging 20 cents for a cup of water.
What I despise is the insinuation made by this woman--and many of the others who engage in this form of racism--that other races don't have suffering in their collective pasts. My paternal ancestors were French Protestants (known collectively as the Hugenot) who were persecuted and murdered by the Catholic French monarchy and who fled to sundry Protestant German states for protection, taking only what they wore. |

I hate the whole "reparations" intitlement mentality.
Reparations were made in the form of Affirmative Action giving them jobs/promotions they hadn't earned. Reparations were made in the form of college tuitions and welfare checks and housing and dozens of other gov'ment give-aways.
