Wednesday, October 19, 2011 2:35:01 AM They're kind of stupid aren't they? The park is closed. They can sing their songs outside the park all night long. |

Tuesday, October 18, 2011 11:36:17 AM Jelly... You did watch the video right? The cop plainly comes up to them, in a polite manner and informs them the park is closed after midnight, and they are more than welcome to come back after it opens. If they stay, they will be arrested. Is that concept new? Do you march into stores that are closed and say, It's ok Mr. Owner, I'll be quiet. Really? |

Tuesday, October 18, 2011 11:24:24 AM @lifeavoidit "I side with the cops on this one. Those people are just out to cause trouble..." Out to cause trouble? Are you f/ucking retarded and/or blind?!?! They're just chilling. Trouble would be cursing at the cops and threatening the cops. Now stfu and go to your room! You're grounded! |

Tuesday, October 18, 2011 3:13:45 AM I'm with lifeavoidit. Those peaceful protesters, were no doubt going to do drugs, rape children and desecrate the American flag. They SHOULD be arrested. Bunch of criminals. |

Tuesday, October 18, 2011 1:23:21 AM Hmm. I side with the cops on this one. The protestors were trying to make themselves martyrs in the wrong way. |

Monday, October 17, 2011 7:44:33 PM The cops were overly polite. The park was closed. I am on the side of the cops for this video... on a side note, would the parks be the best place for the protesters to be at night? Better then the streets I'd think... (keeping them out of peoples hair I'm thinking) |

Monday, October 17, 2011 5:05:33 PM How can anyone watch this video and feel any sympathy for the protestors. The cop was being overly polite to the group and they were just basically spitting in his face. |

Monday, October 17, 2011 3:28:57 PM No-one in NYC takes these people seriously. They are all corralled in certain areas, and few move anywhere else. SO, until they start tearing crap down, the city will be very ho-hum about it. <~ what a friend that lives in NYC told me :P |

Monday, October 17, 2011 3:14:38 PM "Following in the tradition of "civil disobedience" as a way of protesting injustice and inequality is my guess. Gandhi, MLK, etc..." Call it what you will, they're breaking the law to get their point across, I find killing the people who defend the law makers to be more productive. If police officers start dying, they will declare martial law and then millions will rally to protest. Riot squads, tear gas and fire hoses don't work too well when half the crowd is armed and firing weapons. But, people are cowards, continue the ineffective protesting. |

Monday, October 17, 2011 2:53:38 PM I didn't know that a park can close. Unless I suppose it has a gate (like a botanical garden). The protesters here are camping out in James Park. Police haven't told them to leave. |

Monday, October 17, 2011 2:25:43 PM I have never been to New York City. Can somebody please explain to me why these people are wanting to stay there if the officer even suggested that there were other places for them to legally be. Call me ignorant, but it seems to me these are the kinds of people that blast out the law without actually understanding it fully. And why be disrespectful to the officer when he kindly asked for just a moment of their time to explain himself? |
