Tuesday, October 18, 2011 1:31:06 AM I've worked at two haunted houses. One was a "haunted hayride" where I was the pig-person from Saw and jumped out of a steel asylum door and started climbing the steel cage of the haycart. One night, i kicked open the asylum door with a little more gusto than usual, causing it to ricochet back at me, hitting me in the knee and taking me out ground first into some mud. Busted my knee pretty badly. At the other one, I was punched in the nuts by a 9 year old girl. |

Monday, October 17, 2011 9:53:15 PM Working in a haunted house is fun for the first few nights, but it gets hard to scare people when you start loosing your voice from all that loud scaring. It just gets to be a grind after that. It beats working as a mall Santa though, that job can really get under your skin. I refuse to say "Ho Ho Ho" ever again. |

Monday, October 17, 2011 8:45:46 PM I work in a haunted house @ SCarowinds,NC.... this crap happens all the time... people hype them selves up to get scared and are scared even before we try to scar them. Making people puke is a good feeling though |

Monday, October 17, 2011 8:43:22 PM I have been to these things and find them boring with the exception of all the tards around me freaking out about obvious stuff. I mean, you stand in line forever, pay the equivalent of a college tuition while all the time knowing full and well that once inside, it will be dark and things will pop up at you from anywhere. It is beyond me how anyone can get remotely frightened. If it were not for friends that want me to go along, I would never waste my money. |

Monday, October 17, 2011 8:17:13 PM Yea hope the guy was over reacting, maybe it was just the snakes...? I went to a haunted house last week, pennhurst in PA. It was suppose to be scary, I just walked around laughing the whole time it was fun. That is until a dude stuck a tarantula in my face, then I ran down the hall pushing the two girls we were with out of the way. drat spiders. |

Monday, October 17, 2011 7:24:54 PM I'm going to an 18+ haunted house this saturday. It's in a small modern art museum that has a creepy basement. They invite artists to create disturbing areas and have a scent house providing various gross smells throughout. Went last year and had a good time. Wasn't really scary but I enjoyed joking with the people trying to scare me. Some people actually get freaked out enough to yell the safe word "uncle" which gets them immediately escorted out. Wish I was that easily scared because that would be more exciting. But I have a good grasp on reality... |
