Wednesday, October 19, 2011 2:44:46 PM Uhn...this guy just seemed crazy to me. I can understand these sentiments if some sort of brutality was occuring but um, the police were just calmly moving people along... Was just silly. |

Wednesday, October 19, 2011 1:39:19 AM A couple of things... Part of me wants to say, "F*ck Yeah!". But another part says that he made his point, and that was overkill. And then there's the point that maybe some of them did in fact have guns. This is America... |

Tuesday, October 18, 2011 12:32:50 PM Mr. G85 sounds as exactly out of the loop due to his distance from where this is happening as he actually is. People are being beaten, maced, and arrested for NO REASON. The NYPD, along with SEVERAL other police depts around the country are TERRORISTS. IMHO, people who are too deluded to see and combat the evils law enforcement are putting on the groups who aren't too scared to dissent don't deserve to have a voiced opinion about terrors being committed abroad |

Tuesday, October 18, 2011 4:55:09 AM @isthiswherei They're not saying anything because they don't want to aggravate the situation. It had the potential to get out of control with the slightest. Cops had to calm the situation by acting neutral but still in control, let him blow off steam and he'll hopefully leave in peace. No need to excite him even more and get everyone else to see him as a martyr if he got arrested. You must admit he does look like he's trying to lure the cops in to action or get the crowd going. What he says may even be correct, but the police are only interested, or should be, in keeping the peace in a situation like that. |

Tuesday, October 18, 2011 1:07:16 AM "These people don't have guns!" Yes they do. How many gun related deaths are there in New York each year? A lot, I bet. |

Monday, October 17, 2011 9:55:14 PM "he seemed to be the one out of control, not the police. there is no honor in blinding shouting at officers who seem to be standing idle. wheres the video of the "random beatings" he was shouting about?" The dude is probably just kind of angry because of certain experiences he's had in the past and what he has seen in connection with the police and the OWS. And guess what, he probably does have some kind of PTSD, which has been set off by the warzone like mentality of the police and what he has experienced in Iraq or Afghanistan. And the reason why the cops are being still and not doing anything is because what he was saying has weight, especially when a person like him, someone who has seen warzones, says it. Like a smaller version of the vietnam veterans that joined up with the anti-war movement.

Monday, October 17, 2011 7:23:02 PM I am dreadfully curious how one can illegally protest... Makes about as much sense as legally breaking laws and a fictional work of nonfiction. This gentleman simply did what everyone else on wallstreet is trying to do: Make a point. Things are not as they should be and he is simply relaying the message. I fear the day one has to get a permit to protest. Next, we'll have to register to speak and pay a tax to breath. Shame. |

Monday, October 17, 2011 5:27:59 PM Also like to point out that some guys you might have heard of before threw a protest without permits. George Washington, Tom Jefferson,.... I think u can guess the rest of the crowd. Overbearing Governments will never really give you freedom of speech when they don't want to hear what you are saying. |

Monday, October 17, 2011 4:57:48 PM johnkelley, i'd like to see them try and hurt him. Also, i'd like you to tell how people should get legal permits for protests of such kind? Think about who gives them the permits and who finances the givers. I don't condone destruction of property, but as long as the protests are peaceful - the people shouldn't be harmed. |

Monday, October 17, 2011 4:45:34 PM Beardtats, how about you listen to his message first? Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like he's kind of irritated over the way that the police officers are handling the crowds. He would not have been irate at ALL if the cops weren't hurting innocent civilians. And it's in the best intentions of police to make sure that violence, as well as other crimes don't happen. "Why are you hurting innocent people?" Does it sound like the cops have their priorities straight? NOPE. sounds like there's already a problem. |
