It's a small town across the mountain higher than the horizon. Lights flickering because zoom sucks at night. |

I suppose if I were going to try my hand at some digital editing for a fake UFO vid, that just drawing strange orbs/lights would be much easier than actually trying to design and insert a whole space ship into said vid. |

Fun fact: The aliens carefully study us to learn who can and cannot control simple devices such as cameras. When they find a large group of technically inept people in one place, they know they are safe from proper zooming and steady camera shots so they appear in all their glory to hand out icecream. |

considering the size of the universe, to think we are the only intelligent life is extremely egotistical. and if there is (and there certainly is)civilizations more advanced than us, and if they COULD travel here...why wouldn't they? we travel to the depths of the ocean to study tube worms.
that being said...its very hard to take any of these crappy ufo videos seriously. |

Maybe the light is a by-product of their (insert type o energy creation we haven't figured out yet) engine that allows for faster than light travel.
The argument that UFO's wouldn't be ready for Earth particular gravity is a moot one. Clearly they would have Gravity on their planet, which, for all we know, may be the size of Jupiter, and they don't even feel the gravity of Earth because of the pressures they are adapted to.
If an alien makes a bad decision, it is ok to say they're only human? |

jburgh - exactly my point.
Why abduct cattle or humans when they can tap into library we have? Why fly around in the middle of the night with their lights on? Why even bother flying hundreds of light years across the galaxy just to abduct people and play dentist or make circles in the fields?
Why is every bit of video shot of UFOs from far away, blurry, shaking and generally not worth crap?
Believing this crap is having a mental disability. |

these "ufo's" always come out at night with these bright lights on them, almost as if they want to be seen. what else are the lights for?

Looks like aerial flares, dropped in clusters of four, and even the latter part could just be the effect of wind or even zooming in with the camera. I also wonder why the camera operator happened to be filming an empty black Santiago sky unless he knew military jets were about. |
