Well here is the thing, personally I don't feel it should be legalized, but then again I don't think alcoholism or tobacco should be legal either. Of course we all know how that worked out during Prohibition because of all the stupid people. I already said though There is one good thing about legalizing weed. And that is the Stupid Druggies in america can finally start contributing to the government. I just hope if it is legalized they put HUGE taxes on it! |

i agree with britt566. n besides, every plus has a minus.... ya know what, i had a thought, but you ppl n your anti-pot crap is just causing more drama n chaos around the world. and on the I-am-bored comment box section thingy. lol. here's a thought. have a bowl, go help your neighbor with dishes or whatever n just be happy to be alive.you ever wonder why poo like this happens? its cause ppl don't have the capability to think beyond their own greedy self. they sit around n mope around because suddenly pot is practically everywhere. n all of the sudden, you got mass crowding in jails n no money to build more jails or space because they already used all the money on the governmental propaganda to keep the drugs out. its the way the cookie crumbles. n its why ppl are pissed cause they are realizing that the government is using laws to their own benefit to control us and suck us dry of our money. so you know what, you don't get to hear my thoughts. cept that. especially you coolhandluke!! |

Coolhandluke, why should the fact that it's not as healthy as people want to imagine be a reason to keep it illegal? Because you don't want to die? you don't want ill health? Don't do it then. Let others make their own decisions. |

Well kbubb91 there is an exception to every rule but I dont think you are telling me the whole story. I bet you anything your friends who have been smoking so long do have symptoms for instance I bet their lungs are not nearly as healthy as they could be. here is a little statistic for you. "A study of 450 individuals found that people who smoke marijuana frequently but do not smoke tobacco have more health problems and miss more days of work than smokers of only tobacco and non-smokers." Hmm sounds like heath problems to me. Also even though they claim not to be they ARE addicted. Another thing that is a fact is that weed raised you heart rate by 30-100 BPM for up to 3 hours after smoking. over long periods of time this leads to a 4.8-fold increase in the risk of heart attack. Guess what the leading cause of death is in america? you got it Heart disease so if Most american are already at a large risk this Your friends are almost ensuring they will die from heart disease. |

hey coolhandluke, you do know that RESEARCH that your government did to confirm it causes cancer was not real weed. it was either JWH or it was weed with tobacco. i disagree on how you say its harmful. you say it is but only give the cancer excuse. also i known people who been smoking pot for 50 years, not dead, not sick, not obese. |

Everyone on I-am-bored is a druggie! You guys act like weed is a harmless drug and not addictive, but guess what it is a carcinogenic drug which means it causes cancer and yes it can be addictive. in fact there are more teens in treatment with a primary diagnosis of marijuana dependence than for all other illicit drugs combined The reason why it looks like tobacco is worse on paper is because it is legal so scientist can do test on it much easier and find out every little side effect. Weed is not a harmless drug and in my opinion should not be legalized, but the one plus if it is legalized is that then the government can put huge taxes on it so druggies can at least contribute to society. |

I can follow his logic.
He dropped something that was his, he wanted it back from the guy that picked it up.
Where the whole situation gets strange is when the guy in a silly costume kept it, and I have a sneaking suspicion that guy wasn't even going to use it. He just didn't want to give it back.
