Wednesday, October 12, 2011 5:17:41 PM There wasn't anything wrong with the eighties. If you are ever ashamed of some particular period of time it's really more of a reflection on yourself rather then the history of mankind being the one that had an awkward time for a while. |

Wednesday, October 12, 2011 2:49:25 PM I remember my girlfriend in high school insisted I watched this movie with her and I was so hesitant because of the title (this was 1998 btw). I couldn't tell you how many times she walked in on me watching it alone after that why is it awesome? it had the perfect mix of mythology, love, action, and comedy, it fits everyone be they sci-fi fans, love fanatics, action lovers, or laugh-out-louders |

Wednesday, October 12, 2011 2:09:34 PM Totally lucky you missed the 80's, you mean. I was there, it was awful. Being born later you at least get to enjoy the good stuff that survived the test of time, without having to deal with oh so many grown men in tight spandex and giant hair. |

Wednesday, October 12, 2011 1:53:43 PM I remember when I was 6 or 7, my mom brought home this movie. She goes "I saw this the other night on TV, you have to watch it." I didn't really want to cause I'd never heard of it. It turned out to be one of my favourite movies growing up. Although I thought the whole grandpa telling the story thing was annoying. It wasn't until 8 years later I found out it was a "classic". I still have it on VHS. |

Wednesday, October 12, 2011 1:24:37 PM I'm gonna have to go watch this now, too. It's a shame Andre the Giant died. All the stories I've heard about him make him sound like such a sweet man. Also, I think Robin Wright looks better now than she did in the movie, and Chris Sarandon looks like the most interesting man in the world in this clip. |
