Wednesday, October 12, 2011 12:56:36 PM Typical 13 year old parrot for her parent's beliefs. Classy. My beliefs radically changed once I moved out of my parents house and was introduced to a host of different people from different backgrounds and different parts of the world at large. Come talk to me again when you're actually part of the real world sweetie. |

Tuesday, October 11, 2011 7:50:58 PM sooo how is this different than the tea party protests? they're both against wasteful spending by idiots, no? but because this protest isn't made up of mostly republicans, this time it's totally acceptable in the media's eyes? hypocrisy democracy. |

Tuesday, October 11, 2011 2:16:23 PM Kreaol:My Dad worked hard and proved himself, I worked hard and proved myself, I bet my son will work hard and prove himself, and THAT is how you become successful. Not by living off Government hand-outs.* *Your results may differ. You are making assumptions that everyone who is poor has not worked hard and is living off of government hand-outs? That's a mighty-broad brush you're painting with, Kreaol. I suppose no one has ever encountered hardship before, and any failure to become a rich and successful is entirely the fault of their own. No one could have lost their job due to a major global recession caused by the utter failures of investment bankers, and then been unable to recover afterward. That scenario is completely unheard of in these times. That attitude is insulting. |

Tuesday, October 11, 2011 10:32:38 AM Little girl with the black fingernails is a moron: her parents are not Wall St bankers and are in no way the target of the protests. I would like to see her say that to the face of these two guys:

Tuesday, October 11, 2011 9:02:38 AM Most interesting argument I've heard about the tax rate on the rich: by lowering it so much, we have incentivized greed. Think about it: why not cut your employee's pay and give yourself a fat bonus. Use to be it went to the government, but now you can keep most of it. That is what the 1% vs 99% is about - a growing economic divide between the elites and the rest of us, one that is beginning to make a feudal lord look like philanthropist. But, yeah, I agree with those who suspect she didn't write that herself... |

Tuesday, October 11, 2011 7:57:51 AM Whatever, the stupidity of a child, thats why they arent allowed to vote & drive. What does this have to do with anything? What would this kid write if here Dad was the 'computer engineer' for the mafia, or at some horrible hellhole, yknow Auswitz needed engineers too. Im sure hes a great family man, maybe graduated cum laude. Thats not whats being discussed or protested. Your dad can find a job somewhere where profits are not based on disenfranchising the rest of humanity. |

Tuesday, October 11, 2011 6:49:00 AM I have always believed the same thing. I came from Soviet Russia to the states with my parents when I was three, and we only had the clothes on our backs essentially. No government aid, we lived with a sponsor (who would be considered by today's standards to be in the "poor" zone) until they helped my parents find low-paying jobs and a cheap apartment. In the course of 20+ years, my dad was laid off 2-3 times for company downsizing, but always strove and FOUND a job as soon as possible. He managed to provide for his family of wife and three kids, built a second story to our ranch with his bare hands, and recently adopted another three kids from Ukraine. I work in IT for a Fortune 500 company, and have a wife and one awesome kid (so far), along with a home we bought almost 2 years ago. My Dad worked hard and proved himself, I worked hard and proved myself, I bet my son will work hard and prove himself, and THAT is how you become successfu |

Tuesday, October 11, 2011 4:09:33 AM The ignorace written on that sheet of paper is astounding. Great job kid, you successfully broadly generalized an entire movement showing your complete ignorance. As for it being unorganized, read this. This is why it should remain unorganized, seeing as how 4 of these things listed have already happened. >http://www.reddit.com/r/occupywalls... |

Tuesday, October 11, 2011 12:39:58 AM I can't decide if I want my comment to be "I'm 13 and I can hold up a sign my daddy wrote." or "Those are awful large hands for a 13 year-old." |

Monday, October 10, 2011 11:41:58 PM im not republican but I think the occupy wall street protests are way too unorganized and most of the people there have no idea why they're there. Maybe if so many protestors didn't do it just cause they're friends are there, it would be a different story. |

Monday, October 10, 2011 10:29:37 PM No, this child is being used by her parents to purport an ideology which, as a "computer engineer," does not even bring economic benefit to the father. This is typical Republican propaganda. 'Merica! Goddamn gay agenda liberals bullpoo Muslim homo socialist feminist blah blah blah. |
