After watching this a second time, does anyone get the feeling his story is fictional?
The only news this shows up as is the video itself. I guess maybe it didn't make the news, but then his hand got blown off and while the scars seem minimal perhaps they healed well, but in his story, he switches between his hand being fixed to it not being fixed. It also seems far fetched that the kid walked in in a pimp suit and his family was in the court room "crowd" hooting and hollering.
I'm just saying I'm skeptical. Maybe I'm wrong. |

I'm guessing you didn't watch the whole thing, they show an x-ray full of bb's. Also he mentions coughing up some.

There are 2 court records for a juvenile being sentenced to 30-40 years in Michigan from 2007-2010.

Just so you guys know, this documentary came from a skateboarding site called theberrics. usually they would come out with a documentary called aberrican me every week which would deal with inspiring stories related to skateboarding, this is definitely the most inspiring one. i'm surprised this made it to iab cause ive been going to iab when im bored for about 6 years now since i was in middle school and going to theberrics.com ever since i started skating about 4 years ago so this video being on this site makes it even more inspiring |

Aww. Pretty scary but it was an enjoyable and inspirational video.
The kid had to kill a random person to join a gang, so he decides to kill his friend of 10 years. Enjoy 35 years of prison rape, kid. We'll see you when you're 50. |

This kid is a badass.
And he's a better man than I.
Had this happened to me, I would have sent Purple Suit to jail (just so I could make the "bet your assh*le is squeaky clean, ain't it?" comments), then proceeded to burn down his family's homes, get myself sent to the same jail, and stab Purple Suit through every major joint.
Make sure to completely ruin his arms so if he HAPPENED to survive, he wouldn't be able to hold a shotgun anymore. Or defend himself from the Bubbas. |

Man, I'm impressed with this kid and honestly his whole family. If my son had been shot by some little bastard like that and his family had shown up to court cheering about it, I'd probably burn down their drating houses one night and do my damnedest to take out their whole ignorant brood in one fell swoop. The world would be a better place for it, that's for sure. |
