Friday, October 07, 2011 10:46:49 PM I would have rather heard them play Battery, but it's refreshing to see that some kids are still into Rock / Metal. Too bad they are probably going to be receiving a cease and desist letter from Lars' lawyer in the near future. |

Friday, October 07, 2011 9:22:57 PM I think you get a glimpse of the bass player right at the very end, to the girl's left. The vocals...meh, about what you'd expect from kids this age. The musicianship, tho, was very, very good, esp. the drummer ! Great vid.... |

Friday, October 07, 2011 8:30:06 PM Nope sorry shes not playing a bass guitar. If you can't tell by looking at it you should be able to tell when you listen to her solo |

Friday, October 07, 2011 3:22:43 PM Loved seeing the girl doing the solo too. We need more female guitar players. I disagree. I think it might be a good idea to have more guitarists who are female, but that's a very different thing. If you categorise them as "female guitar players", you are focusing on their sex and making them a special case for being female. That's fine if you're a feminist, i.e. you want more sexism. I'm not and I don't. So I dislike categorising them that way. |

Friday, October 07, 2011 3:17:26 PM You can't have someone that young doing the vocals for that song. It doesn't work and can't work. |

Friday, October 07, 2011 8:18:05 AM When I came off the road, I started teaching guitar at a local music school. Eight years old was right around the cut off age for who I'd teach. Any lower and they were just too young. These kids put a LOT of effort into playing what you just heard. The drummer was very good for his age and the guitarists had clearly done a ton of practising. They need a new singer, but hey... Over all, great job by a bunch of 8 year old kids. Loved seeing the girl doing the solo too. We need more female guitar players. |
