I don't understand how people can walk THROUGH these things and they just shatter... I thought these kind of things were made from strengthened glass? |

That hurts like a motherdrater. I did that in an Armani store a couple yeArs ago and the sales lady came running, went past me to check the glass for the cracks. Yeah |

I think it's funny how things like a big black stripe on the floor (that mat), the hand rails and such, still manages to NOT give people a clue as to where the DOOR is for them to enter... |

I hate those damn glass vestibules. I'm convinced people install them because they think it's funny to watch all the people hurt themselves accidentally walking into the glass. |

cyborg - not necessarily. There was a guy once who wanted to prove the safety of glass on the 38th floor of a skyscraper. He ran at it full tilt, expecting to bump off it, and, er, didn't. |

@muert I agree that stripe wasn't enough and probably blended into background. I'm surprised the glass used in the design wasn't tough enough to prevent this happening. |
