Tuesday, September 27, 2011 8:49:10 AM I agree with Revolutionz, alot of people are flip flopping on their opinions of cops and innocents. I don't agree with alot of what Anon does, but this is justified. There were a dozen cops holding them back with the orange construction barrier, and dude walks over, sprays them and walks away like he's a badass. Just one cop pissed that he's bald and flaccid and taking it out on the youth. It's not about blocking the street, cops and construction crews block them all the time, visit Pittsburgh some time. Both parties are wrong here, but Tony has it coming. One moment of pretending to be a badass might cost him and his family more than he could imagine. Everything is recorded these days, we all have to start being more careful, or all of us here on IAB will eventually be in a tazer video or fail compilation. |

Monday, September 26, 2011 9:37:31 PM @ madest the term “terrorism” means premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents 1- they are using the tactic of releasing sd offender's personal information to instill fear upon him or his family 2- they are a clandestine group 3- political motivation would be "f___ the police" open your eyes madest. |

Monday, September 26, 2011 9:30:59 PM Madest: Terrorism: ter-uh-riz-uhm noun 1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes. Apparently your vocabulary skills are lacking, madest. Either that or your hate is blinding you to the truth. |

Monday, September 26, 2011 8:37:59 PM I didn't really see any reason for pepper spray... but I don't really see and reason for anonymous to release details about the cop either.. |

Monday, September 26, 2011 7:36:54 PM Obviously, we should all just shrug off this unhappy incident and move on with our lives. However, what (for the sake of argument) would happen, if somebody tortured and murdered his family? (1) Homeland Security stormtroopers would find and screw up anyone associated with it Anonymous. (2) would change traditional policing effectiveness because even if you get Anonymous, there will always be someone capable of doing this. (3) Police would have to police anonymously, in the equivalent of black hoods, with their name badges replaced with code names. All of these factors would contribute to effecting a police state, not stymieing it. |

Monday, September 26, 2011 4:03:19 PM What the officer did was uncalled for. I didn't see the women do anything to warrant the spray. I will agree on that. As far as Anon not being a terrorist threat well they did release personal information on the officers and his family. Working in law enforcement is a dangerous job. Someone he arrested might get that info and try to harm him or his family for revenge. That's indirect harm. Cops probably wouldn't be such douches if people weren't drating morons. She is screaming as if hot lava with lasers was poured on her. |

Monday, September 26, 2011 3:01:44 PM I will, and have, called police brutality quite liberally. I've had to put my hands on a cop before, and as far as I'm concerned, if you want to be a tough guy, you better be VERY tough. This, is pepper spray. BIG deal.... The crazy chick didn't even get hit directly with the stream. Perhaps I've been sprayed/gassed too many times, but I don't consider pepper spray remotely hostile. |

Monday, September 26, 2011 2:38:34 PM "Anonymous doesn't have the right to make terrorist threats against police officers doing their jobs and i hope whomever posted that info gets arrested, tazed, and pepper sprayed, in that order." Exactly what terrorist threats has Anonymous made? The term "terrorism" is defind by U.S. Law as: "premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents" Anonymous' motives are not politically driven, and their acts aren't violent. Therefore, no terrorist threats are being made. Also, the cops here can hardly be considered "noncombatants" when they are pepper spraying girls who are yelling. Educated yourself. It's the first step to combating ignorance. |

Monday, September 26, 2011 2:18:57 PM This is not excessive force. I have been pepper sprayed before (college dare = not fun) and it does burn for a while, but it is not in the least "excessive force". This could have been much worse and I believe all of us reading this have seen cops abusing their power but in this case I just don't see it. Now if they were tazered, struck with a nightstick, K-9 unit brought in, then I would say you have an argument for being excessive but pepper spay was about the least physical thing they could have done. |

Monday, September 26, 2011 2:10:38 PM madest: the police don't have the right to pepper spray or Taze people just because they have the equipment. They do if the need arises and apparently it arose here, before the editing out of those jerks stopping traffic. Anonymous doesn't have the right to make terrorist threats against police officers doing their jobs and i hope whomever posted that info gets arrested, tazed, and pepper sprayed, in that order. |
