i guess it's "alienating" when there is a change to facebook but you fail to notice wtf has changed...it's free and i barely drating use it as if i want to contact someone, i use my phone...facebook is more of a business card to me...my number and poo are there if you want any type of poo from me...
i love the mass discussions about bullpoo btw :3 |

Well, have fun being told "oh just check my facebook/Google+" and then replying "I don't have Facebook/Google+" and then getting weird looks because you stubbornly refuse to accept that there is nothing alienating about keeping in touch with your friends and making plans over the internet. I don't use my phone other than to make calls to my mom and GF as well as cable, and electricity; and to play with my apps, one of them being Facebook, to make plans with my friends so that I'm not a loner who doesn't hang out with his friends because they're out, with their friends, whom they've made plans with, on Facebook. |

I set up a google+ profile yesterday. It's the same crap as facebook. Really.. You make a profile, add friends and talk to them, post uninteresting status updates and share pics and video. That's facebook, myspace, twitter. They are all the same thing at their cores, yet everyone acts like it'll be a whole new world once they get google+. Sure they differ in certain ways, but what I really think draws people to google+ is just the fact that it's new. When you go to a new social networking site, you get to re-add all of your friends, re-make your profile and people become more inclined to communicate with each other in an effort to gain as much popularity as possible on the new social networking site before it too falls and gives way to another. How do people not realize that we just keep doing myspace over and over with a new layout each time? That being said, social networking seems to be the ONLY way people interact anymore so I still use it. |

I think I'll continue my memebrship.
There's no point in joining NotGoogleWave, because I've not found any one to talk to on GoogleWave, beyond one conversation with other people who were also trying it for the first time and never used it again. |
