Friday, September 23, 2011 5:29:38 PM I love Doctor Who, and Boo is my favorite Mario character, but... this doesn't make any sense. If it showed them looking at each other, then they'd be forever frozen in place. |

Friday, September 23, 2011 1:53:41 PM Ok. I get the joke however: The angel can't move when being looked at. The boo is not looking at it. So the angel should go for the "kill" (yes I know they don't really kill (sometimes) and yes I know the boo is already dead). Now the boo moves when not being looked at too. The angel is not looking at it. So the boo should go for the "kill" too. Both are able to know when the other is not looking. The only way for this to work is if they notice each other at the same time. Since neither (normally) move around unless there is prey moving around, this can't really happen. meh. I might be wrong but it's just how I see it. |

Thursday, September 22, 2011 10:16:42 PM ITT: We talk about the inconsistencies of a fictional scifi show. =\ Also, the first angel episode was the greatest Dr. Who episode EVAR. |

Thursday, September 22, 2011 3:21:15 PM Sorry I should probably explain. I spent a year in America, and the first thing I always used to get was "omg you're British, I love Doctor Who!"... great. I think it's kind of crap. We have lots of better shows, like QI. |

Thursday, September 22, 2011 2:05:09 PM "I'm British, and I think Doctor Who is boring." Okay? Was anyone under the impression that every Brit loved Doctor Who? That was quite a stupid comment. It's like saying "I'm American and I think American Idol is boring"... Either way, these stupid statues are the dumbest/most inconsistent thing in Doctor Who. One scene: The angels are being looked at, so they freeze, Lights flicker out, so they move, lights on, they freeze. Next scene: The angels get tricked into looking at each other, they freeze. As it has been explained, they are stuck that way forever since they cannot blink to break eye contact and thus, move. Of course, once it's night time, they can once again move all the hell they want...Also, they still have the power to turn off the lights as they were doing in the previous scene... And the later episode, 2 parter, had even more of these dumb inconsistencies...Good idea, extremely poor applicat |

Thursday, September 22, 2011 9:24:44 AM @Angelmassb The Weeping Angel is from a British show, so I don't know what that has to do with American users. |

Thursday, September 22, 2011 7:54:06 AM Boo - Mario baddie. Can only travel behind Mario. If Mario looks directly at him, he freezes, covers his face, and blushes. ("You can't see me if I can't see you"). Weeping angel - Humanoid from the Dr. Who series. They had a defense mechanism of turning into stone when observed by another. They covered their faces, giving them a weeping appearance, to prevent trapping themselves in stone form for eternity. So because a Boo is observing a weeping angel and a weeping angel is looking at Boo...neither can move. |

Thursday, September 22, 2011 3:40:49 AM Assuming boo saw weeping angel first, then boo would win. Depends who looks first I guess, but then I've never seen a boo blink before. Anyway. Bit of a bleh caption I know, but I couldn't think of anything else. :P honkeylips - I've only really seen one episode; The God Complex, which seemed a little 'eh', but most people I've talked to said it was more of a filler episode than anything else. |

Thursday, September 22, 2011 2:36:23 AM Yea I have to give the edge to the Weeping Angel. That was easily the greatest episode I've ever seen. This season has been pretty good so far though. |
