They dont usually get paid. Thats why they are mules. If they get caught, they go free due to the fact that most mules are forced into carrying this poo through death threat, a kidnapped family or some other circumstance. Since I do not see a single busted rubber in there, its safe to assume this mule said something looking for asylum. |

CT Scans
MRIs work by aligning the water molecules in the direction of the field. Furthermore, because MRIs do work on the water molecules and the spins of the two hydrogen nuclei, MRIs work best on areas with many hydrogen nuclei and little density, such as brain, muscle, connective tissue, most tumors, etc. MRI doesn't work as well on bones. MRI scans are uses mostly for soft tissue issues, such as looking at bursal sacs, tendons, tumor formations or brain tissue (for clots, strokes, etc.).
The above pictures are from a CT scan, which is the computer processing of a large series of x-ray images taken from a single axis of rotation. When you're in a CT scanner, the machine that moves around you is an x-ray machine. The computer puts the pictures together. |

naztk55, MRI is used for head, spine, and joint damage. It is generally not used for abdomen...I don't know why you would as it is much more expensive and offers no advantage over CT for abdomen scans. |

@naz2k55 - MRI scans are most often used for images inside the skull and spinal column, not on the abdomen. MRIs are much more expensive than a CT scan, and a CT scan can see the tissues in the abdomen just fine because there are no major bones blocking it. Hence why CT scans are used for the abdomen. |

@grindinblade fine sensation 64 is a ct scan, but we always used MRI on the abdomen as you know its much better for soft tissues so it would have made sense to use it here in my opinion |

That is definitely CT scan. MRI doesn't result in enough soft tissue/bone density differentiation to view bones that well. Also MRIs are used mainly for brain imaging and tendons, CTs would be more commonly used for abdominal imaging here. Finally without a doubt sideshow is right, Sensation 64 is a CT scanner, not MRI. Seriously what do they teach in czech med schools?
