Friday, September 16, 2011 3:05:28 PM CLEARLY it is the Death Star, with construction about 90% complete. |

Friday, September 16, 2011 5:59:21 AM So a satellite took a picture of it self.. You can see the body and the solarpanels which are transparent as it is probably filmed in another wavelength than visible light. Those are all composite shots anyway, think of multiple exposures on the same film. |

Thursday, September 15, 2011 7:23:10 PM I second the Death Star theory. It's the only logical conclusion. It was well documented in that documentary by G. Lucas. You may not have seen it. It's pretty underground. |

Thursday, September 15, 2011 11:44:52 AM @Ruffiana I agree, anyone who has a reflector 'scope will see this type of image when way out of focus. |

Thursday, September 15, 2011 11:35:51 AM Looks like a ghost image of a secondary mirror mount for a standard reflector or cassegrain telescope. |

Thursday, September 15, 2011 10:19:28 AM This calls for a Shakespearian response: much ado about nothing is much ado about nothing. |

Thursday, September 15, 2011 9:59:41 AM I saw this a few years back when Google sky first came out. I don't know what the video is trying to imply because it wasn't an "OMG" moment when I saw it. More like a "Why hasn't this been cleaned up?" |

Thursday, September 15, 2011 9:50:47 AM Looks like a refraction from light on the telescope/satellite they are using. Move along folks. |

Thursday, September 15, 2011 9:32:35 AM I like your thinking, netro. My god, we can only hope there's a vulnerability in the design... |

Thursday, September 15, 2011 9:31:34 AM I'd agree with tiredofnicks... I could have sworn that this was another orangepanty submission. I'm also beginning to think that orangepanty is just another Fancylad alias. |
